Just finished watching the first disc. It's very similar to the 1997 one, but doesn't quite live up to it in some ways. Keith Wood helped make that documentary what it was. His team talks were so in your face, and quite honestly scary. O'Connell just doesn't come across in the same way. The noises of Neil Jenkins throwing up in the backround of the '97 DVD also showed how nerves can effect everyone differently, and even these top internationals have them before a game.
It was still a good watch, and was interesting to see how the different coaches acted. Gatland quiter than I thought he might have been, wheras Shaun Edwards didn't come across as tough as I expected. Just like on the '97 tour, McGeegan is a great motivator, his speeches are excellent, and he manages without swearing every other word, unlike the Irish players lol.
Thoroghly enjoying. Just brings back how amazing and how close the series was.
