Hi guys, I've just registered to the forum and was unsure about where to play (Probably a forward), I've just been persuaded to start playing rugby by a few friends at school and I have attended a few training sessions, I'm 6'2-6'3" and weigh 225lbs at 12.5% bodyfat, I have been doing powerlifting recently, my best's are 300lbs squat, 310lbs Deadlift and 175lbs Bench, so I have no problem with leg strength in rucks, mauls, scrums. My 100m is 15.3 seconds and I'm reasonably fit. (I have no idea how much of that info you needed but at least you have it ;))

Probably Second Row or Openside Flanker. You seem really strong/tall, so you would be the powerhouse of the scrum in second row. Or Openside Flanker for your speed.

Probably secondrow but most guys won't be able to lift you. You may have to go prop for a few years. Though some coaches would put you blindside flanker or number 8.

You got some speed ask to go on the wing flatten a few of the opposition but due to your size chances are youll be put prob of no 8.

I would love to go winger, I might start working on speed and trying to keep some weight, It wouldn't be to bad, weighing 16stone and have a 100m of under 15 seconds, and if I keep the weight and it doesn't work out I'd just go back to being a forward. Cheers for that idea.
