I am a 16 year old girl who is 4'11" tall and weighs 11 stone and I was wondering what position I would play if I took up rugby?

Well it depends on your pace and agility. I think we can safely say that at 4'11" you're not going to be put into the second row though!

Just ask your coach. I don't know if you already played some rugby but I can imagine that if you didn't it can be hard to cope with hard tackles.
I'm also very slim for my height but I put focus on increasing my core and and speed.

Maybe a stupid question but what's the dilemma. As soon as you have some practice sessions done you will know what positions suits you the most.
Anyway good luck with your game.

Oh, and make sure you want to play rugby because it is out of genuine interest... Do not, under any circumstances play rugby because you think your bf would "love" you more if you do since he is also a rugby player...

My ex, did the same, and used the "I played rugby for you" to attack me when we broke up... hmmm, I never asked her to..

So, don't worry bout positions, come to practice with genuine interest, and commitment, you'll have fun no doubt!

I meant the backs, sorry. Scrum-half, fly-half (though you probably wouldn't play there as it really needs someone with experience), centre, wing or fullback.
