I am actually a little disappointed. We got battered a few times in the past in the Prem Cup but i'd never want to field a full strength. I get players back from injury need to play as well as 3rd/4th string but with only Brown as a fully fledged academy player its a bit odd.

It's a bit of a poor show on our part.

To be fair aren't a lot of the first teamers just back from injury?
I don't mind sides using the cup as a way to get players back to fitness - it's just a bit jarring to see our bench with teenagers covering unfamiliar positions vs multiple internationals :p

Yh sadly for Sale i look at that team and Harris, Morris, Hougaard, Fekitoa, Kibrigie, Crossdale, Odogwu, Frost, T Willis have all had injuries. I do think it would have been nice to see likes of Eckersley, Monye, Bell, Hardwick, Hartley, Cripps, Maasi-White, Dawkins, Simmonds or Fisilau etc but most either injured or with Eng U20s

A very young side for us

I wonder if they take it in turns to pass some ******** to Austin before a game every week just to see if he'll read it out.

Pretty meh game up here really with a few decent bits in between.

We've literally ran out of players so are fielding 22, apparently
Great to see Harper back,
Two locks and a hooker in the backrow, again

Edit: Just realised there's no #20 on the bench either, so a 21 man squad? wut
