The Blues-Ospreys match was definitely the more entertaining and less error-strewn of tonight's Welsh derbies.

The players on both teams were clearly undercooked during the Scottish derby. In the end, Edinburgh's superior set-piece won them the game.

Decent result for Munster up North. We once again suffer a bit from a poor start. Two poor tries to concede from backs just really falling asleep. Ulster to their credit finished it very well and they were two slick scores. Really nice first half from the Ulster back three. Stockdale picked some lovely lines, which is definitely a huge boon to his 15 game.

Ultimately though Ulster blew their chance to put up a BP against an entirely second string Munster side at home you'd have to say. They had a load of chances in our 22 and we were on the ropes for the first 50 odd minutes. They didn't score past minute 17.

I think a few of our younger players came into the game with nerves and started poorly. Coombes and O'Sullivan both started poorly and grew into the game a bit. Cloete was great at the breakdown for us, O'Donoghue good too. Healy didn't have his best showing. Centres had a day for the dogs.

Credit to Salanoa at the end, he has definitely been working on his technicals and looks a strong scrummager now. Thought Adamson was going to shaft us at the end. That scrum we had that resulted in a yellow was walking over the line when he blew it up.

Off topic from the game itself but jaysus that commentary team.... I actually really like Ferris and Robson (the man somehow knew Jack O'Sullivan sleepwalks) as commentators, but it was a bit much today having the three Ulster lads

Connacht shooting out if the blocks so far. Seriously aggressive start from them. Masterson really getting stuck in.

Really not helping ourselves with those lineouts.

Connacht playing with mad linespeed but don't seem to be to careful about wrapping.

Seriously doubt Luke McGrath is 2nd best goal kicker based on that

Connacht doing unkind things to the conveyor belt right now. Now let's see how they will blow try to blow this.

Can't believe Leinsters got away with their previous try as well to be honest. Clearout in a pillar clearly came from the side. Glad the ref got the second one right.

Won't be a hipster milked in Galway tonight. First team to beat Leinster in the league since Jesus was on the Michaels SCT.

You could say it was a moral victory for Munster, couldn't you?

Well the real victory is a bonus point with a second team against a high flying team. Moral victory in the sense we could easily have collapsed after the opening quarter but got something out of it.

I don't think many expected us to win tonight, but at the same time it stings to drop our first game of the season.

I hate it when Glasgow loses, especially to Edinburgh.

An interesting round of interpros - Ulster are now the only unbeaten team in the Pro14! I wouldn't have believed that after the first two Heineken Cup matches. We still need to beat Leinster to stand any chance of making the final, because they've got so many bonus points, but big appreciation to Connacht for depriving them of four points, thanks guys, you were amazing.

To be fair Ulster deserved win but was always expected that they'd beat us as we had mainly our back up team and they had alot of first team. Interestingly alot of media thought we actually had more reason to be happy last night and Ulster actually were a bit down over failure to get Bonus Point.
Leinster were always at risk due to issues with covid and IRFU policy over Xmas. Playing with no 10 didn't help either
