and England vs Scotland:

Samoa used it against England 2 or 3 times in the AIs. I said then I expect to see some club take advantage of it.

Didn't England do it a few times Vs. Wales in the second half? I seam to recall thinking at the time it was one of the reason for our superior defense as we always had the numbers and plug the gaps to commit to tackles and thus Wales couldn't break the gainline. The few times England did commit players was either due to attempting the choke tackle or the ball was eminently winnable in the ruck.

nice piece of analysis on Dave Ewers by Chalrie Morgan at Rugby World:

Just seen the video.

That's pretty cool and it's nice to see Lanny talking about coaching techniques to the amateur community so openly such as yourself.

yeah, i think h and the others did a day of coaching the coaches earlier this week and this was off the back of it.

Andy Farrell does quite a bit with amateur clubs through QBe iirc.

Its good to see that you are keeping up the good work in your analysis :)

cheers Scotty, it's getting the time to do them, but trying to keep it ticking over.

have another that'll go up on my site later this week.

As I said, really enjoyed it. Been looking through a few others, some insightful stuff!

Reminds us of how much goes into a successful play. Not just a call from a fly half and hope (you can tell to what level I played).
