^ wow beautiful try ! Nice vid., as usual GN10. But the winger's pace at the end was also vital for that try, he easily could've been caught and pushed into touch and all that work for nothing. Still quite a bit to be done after that last pass.

got sent this by the guys at rugbydump, i think the guy who did the video is a subcontractor for sky or something - the software he's using, RTSW, is about £20,000 before licensing...

either way it's pretty interesting, and he raises some good england defence points.

I get a "password required" message and it isn't accepting my Vimeo pass. Any idea what this is about?

yeah i asked and he took them down to due to copyright infringement... I think he would have been ok under the fair usage and educational banner my stuff goes up on youtube - but i guess he got contacted directly. It's a shame as thy were really good.

When i get 3rd party I just accept and let people claim copyright and be done with it, it does mean a couple of things get blocked in SA by DStv but for the most they just slap an advert at the bottom and get paid for my work and it stays up - i have'n't had anything taken down and i run about 3 youtube channels (for my sins).

this is interesting:

Big future ahead of this kid! As an English lock myself I am loving the strength in depth of our athletic, industrious second rows. Long may it continue!

yes, he's fantastic, another year or so and he's possibly going to be world class... my only fear is with so much competition he isn't given the game time he deserves.

ah very nice, still haven't done the one of the scottish defence :(. But it doesn't matter as Scotland's defence is alot better now.

it's just time mate, each video is a two or three day project - have to re-watch the game and decide on something to isolate, then edit it, then write a script, then record the script and then re-edit the video to the voice over, then re-do the voice over if i notice anything else as I re-edit it then re-edit to the new voice over. Then add the highlight effects in.

Didn't see the game so can't comment on any more than is in the video itself but interesting - certainly true that the Reds ten was very deep and static in almost every clip seen there. good point on the first clip, how the lost ground from the lineout made their original plan the wrong option, but they ran it anyway. Good back play is all about decision making / heads-up rugby and that was just poor.

Edit: oops, wrong thread...
