Last weekend was the end of RWC hopes for Chile and Brazil, with Uruguay beating both of them to win the CONSUR qualifying stage. Now Uruguay will play the loser of USA/Canada in home and away legs, with the winner qualifying as Americas 2 and the loser going to the repechage.

In round 1 of the European Repechage Qualifying Tournament, Luxembourg defeated Slovenia 22 - 10, eliminating them from qualification. This is somewhat surprising as Slovenia plays one division higher than Luxembourg (divisions 5 and 6), but then again the differences might be very small in those regions of European Nations Cup.

Luxembourg will now play Division 4 winner Israel in round 2.

The winner of that match will play Division 3 winner The Netherlands in round 3.

The winner of that match will play the winner of the 2012-14 Europan Nations Cup Division 1B (currently Germany) in round 4.

The winner of that match will play the third placed team from the European Nations Cup Division 1A (currently Russia) in round 5.

The winner of that match will go to the repechage round.

2. Namibia - 2nd in 2012 1B
3. Senegal - 3rd in 2012 1B
4. Botswana - promoted from 2012 1C

First round matchups:
Match 1. Tunisia vs. Botswana
Match 2. Namibia vs. Senegal

June 15th, classification matches:
Relegation match: Loser 1 vs. Loser 2
Promotion match: Winner 1 vs. Winner 2

Winner of this division will promote to 2014 Africa Cup Division 1A and will remain in contention for the 2015 RWC. The other three teams will be eliminated from Rugby World Cup qualifying. In addition, the nation relegated from Division 1A later this year will also be eliminated from qualifying.

Tunisia have also handidly beaten Botswana 43-12.

Namibia and Tunisia advance to the promotion game(both still alive for 2015) and Senegal, Botswana go to the relegation game and are thus eliminated from the 2015 RWC.

Jamaica are actually a decent rugby league nation, they play Canada often in league and their team is called "Da Raggae Warriors" in League!!!

Namibia have defeated Tunisia 45-13 and will advance to the final stage of RWC Qualfying in Africa. Namibia just way too good for Tunisia and it shows that when the pros show up for Namibia they are still quite a bit better than the lower ranked African sides. Tunisia have been eliminated from RWC 2015.

I watched some of the game and Kotze continues to be one of the best tactical kickers in the world, the French in Senegal is awful and I will never complain about Quebec French ever again....also the Namibian #17 was hilariously out of shape, one of the fattest players I've seen on a rugby pitch in a loooonnng time.

In Africa 1B consolation, Senegal defeated Botswana 41-5 (20-0 HT).

In 1B promotion match, Namibia defeated Tunisia 45-13 (13-6 HT).

Namibia promote to 1A, remain alive for RWC2015, the other three squads in 1B officially eliminated.

Tunisia, when it was close, in my opinion were too often put the ball to the boot. They would go 3-4 phases, then either box kick or grubber it away into touch. Scrum advantage was to Namibia, got a few penalties from it. Namibia looked really structured (both in attack and defence) and kept their poise this year. Looks like when it matters they play well.
