The Dean Ashton scenario. You're a better player when you're not playing

So our back are hitting hard, carrying hard and doing some good offloads and passes.

Our backs 12 13 14 have v little experience and arnt first team players, 15 hasnt played there much for england and may is having a great game.

Makes sense why we are showing some good stuff but its just not clicking out wide.

Forwards win matches and backs decide by how much seems appropiate right now.

In retrospect, I think dragging on a sack of potatoes every scrum in place of a tighthead prop was a mistake, we should have picked a rugby player there from the start.

Shepherd's crook for Francis is the right call

Be interesting to see if Marchant looks any better now, cause he has been poor too

Meh, if he was playing well I'd happily say he was but the midfield defence has been terrible and he's losing the ball on the floor looking for offloads that aren't on.

Hopefully he perks up with the Ford/Farrell axis because theoretically he should make hay in a game like this

That's a bit harsh, he's made some decent comments, and gave me a like earlier. Give Olyy a break

Nice running from Martin for the try, but bad defending from Italy.

Italy seem to fall apart mentally after conceding 1 or 2 tries.

Italy don't look like scoring at all.
