[RWC2023] Wales vs Portugal (16/09/2023)

Day has finally arrived to see our Lobos in the big stage again. Been a long time In waiting really pumped and nervous at the same time that we can put in a good showing.

The only previous meeting between these two nations occurred all the way back in May of 1994 in Lisbon, when Wales had to play a World Cup qualifier for 1995 after not reaching the 1991 quarter-finals.
They went over the century mark in a 102-11 demolition.

On paper, that's a really strong welsh back line. Great to see Tomos Williams and Anscombe back together, really enjoyed watching them at Cardiff and they can be lethal when they've got quick ball. I see this as a potential centre Wales partnership in the near future keen to see how they go. Not really sure where Portugal are in terms of their strength but hope they give Wales a game.

Most of our players play a lot of 7s so it's going to be interesting game

Can the rest of the boring ass clowns stfu so we can just listen to Flatman

okay Portugal gonna win. A welsh player will die playing 80 minutes in that.

at 75 degrees and 76% humidity: how many times will Leigh halfpenny half to stop the game to fix his contact lenses?
