Sale Sharks have literally no wingers

I just realised that with Cueto banned Sale have literally no wingers for the remainder of the season:

• Mark Cueto - Banned
  Ben Cohen - Injured against Gloucester - requires surgery
  Tom Brady - Injured
  Rhys Crane - Injured
  Fergus Mulchrone - Injured

and that's it - against Gloucester they had to play Paul Williams out of position on the wing instead of at fullback, and have 18yr old academy player Will Addison on the bench

So now we've got:
Paul Williams (Fullback)
Will Addison (academy)
A.N. Other (unnamed academy player - if any others are considered good enough to step up to senior rugby)
Anitalea Tuilagi (centre - don't rate him, but on the wing he's not required to pass so that's something)
Chris Bell (centre - not fast enough for wing, our only o/c on the books)
Iain Thornley (league convert - only played a handful of union games - billed as a centre and looks half decent there, used on the wing before and was dreadful)


Thank God we got that BP win against Gloucester, because we're FUBAR for the rest of the season

Could work though, I suppose - think his first game in a Sale shirt he was on the wing (well, on the bench but came on onto the wing)

How is he performing at centre for you guys ? never saw much of him over here :/

Very very well - arguably the best (certainly the most consistent - joint with Paul Williams) player of the season
Him and Chris Bell have formed a very good centre partnership (shame that Bell is off at the end of the season, and we've only signed 12s to replace him)
Surprisingly quick, tackles very well and is straight back up for the next one, and has set up a fair few tries

Thats a shame.. It looked like he was playing some good rugby for the Sale reserves from what i saw in this video

Been injured for the past two seasons or so - doubt he'll ever play again, tbh, has been on the injured list with "Recover period unknown" for an age (think he dislocated and broke his ankle?)
