He's going to go and play under Tana Umaga who was the first coach he had when he left rugby league, the he played for Tana with Counties-Manukau I really don't see what's so mercenary about that. Tana has done a lot to help him in his rugby career he's just being loyal to him.

Mercenary would be taking a fat contract in France/England, not going to a struggling Blues team. Thus resigning for the AB's in the process.

well at least hes staying in NZ. if he was a money chaser he would have stayed at Toulon. Its pretty obvious there is a big fat contract there waiting for him when ever he wants it so its about time all the haters stopped calling him a money grabber. And by going to the blues he's obviously keen for a challenge.
