I think the All Blacks will win this but they won't have it all their own way. I think Argentina will push them a lot more than the Aussies did. It will be a good examination for the All Black pack to see how much they've improved from last year. The ABs need to really tighten up their defence around the ruck this week or the Pumas will get some joy. ABs by 10 but far from a cakewalk.

Moody is our best prop, great to see that he's fit to play again... Lomax is a very promising prop.

Yeah, Argentina have a very physical strong pack - as you say the ABs will need to make sure they defend really well around the edges of the ruck... also we need to take the ball through a lot more phases through the forwards, making sure we clean out well so Argentina can't get in there & slow our ball down.
Thought last year & also this year the ABs haven't taken the ball through enough phases, reckon if our forwards do that we're going to create much better quality front foot ball for our very dangerous backs to use.

He's an experienced class prop, with excellent technique... so he's not just going to be average all of a sudden, unless he's has ongoing injuries that he can't get rid of.

Sorry mate thought you meant Moody... fair point about Lomax, but he's got the talent to get his game up to speed again.

Reckon the ABs try to spread the ball too early in the backs in matches too much... we need to truck it up in the forwards through a lot more phases to wear them down a bit, then have a crack with our backs.

Argentina already seem like a bigger challenge than Australia were, at least defensively

Barrett has been having an average game, like he does... Then all everyone will remember is that broken play run and that SICK pass. Wicked pass tho, holy lol.

All Blacks way too good for the Pumas today. That was a very one-sided game. Argentina hardly threatened the ABs line. 39 - 0 the All Blacks have to be satisfied with that. The pack really stepped up to the mark and dominated most of the collisions. There were still a few errors but overall the ABs look in far better shape than they were last year.

this didn't age well lol
soon after the AB's blew away argentina and Australia Beat the boks

the weight of attack the AB's were pooring on Argentina was always going to give way at some point.

Top effort by the AB tight-five - really liked that we went through a heap of phases in the forwards, which allowed us to dominate possession... our cleaning wasn't that good in the first 20 minutes so we got some pretty slow ball, after that though we got more numbers to the breakdown to clean out far better, giving us much faster phase ball for our backs to have a good crack at them.
