Summer tours - England

3 out so far.
The next squad is announced after the a league so makes sense not to just bring someone in.

Captain run
Game
Rest
Final players come in

Just seems pointless to add someone now.

This was the team:
15. Freddie Steward (Leicester Tigers, uncapped)
14. Adam Radwan (Newcastle Falcons, uncapped)
13. Ollie Lawrence (Worcester Warriors, 6 caps)
12. Dan Kelly (Leicester Tigers, uncapped)
11. Max Malins (Bristol Bears (loan) / Saracens, 7 caps)
10. Jacob Umaga (Wasps, uncapped)
9. Harry Randall (Bristol Bears, uncapped)
1. Ellis Genge (Leicester Tigers, 28 caps)

3. Joe Heyes (Leicester Tigers, uncapped)
4. Harry Wells (Leicester Tigers, uncapped)
5. Charlie Ewels (Bath Rugby, 21 caps)

21. Dan Robson (Wasps, 12 caps)
22. George Furbank (Northampton Saints, 3 caps)
23. Joe Cokanasiga (Bath Rugby, 9 caps)

Now assuming Jones continues to rests experienced players who could be called up from Quins or Exeter?
J Simmonds
Devoto
O'Flaherty
Dombrandt
Smith
Marchant
Northmore
Lynagh (If he wants to play for England)
Green (If eligible)

Simmonds and Smith should be in with Umaga or over him.
Dombrandt as well should just come in and keep Chick as well.
I'd personally take Marchant for Dingwall if he's injured.
Underhill doesn't need replacing imo, back row has enough players.
I'd also have O'Flaherty (as I suspect Green and Lynagh won't be available or it's too soon.)

Basically I'm optimistically hoping that Jones will keep almost all of this squad together and won't make too many changes. However, could see the likes of Slade joining, even though there really is no need.

Northmore needs to be in with a shout too imo, and I honestly wouldn't be surprised to see Kenningham in there somewhere too, even just as an apprentice

Harry Williams will prob get called up for Davison, don't see why you need him now Rodd is in the squad.
Could see Symons come in for someone like McNally or Munga.

I don't think Eddie will take both of Smith and Simmonds
I reckon he'll have Smith and Umaga as his 10s

I've got a lot of time for Kenningham but can't see him being involved - 7 is crazily stacked already

I don't see Jones chaning much.
Could see it being

15. Freddie Steward
14. Joe Marchant
13. Ollie Lawrence
12. Dan Kelly
11. Max Malins
10. Macrus Smith
9. Harry Randall
1. Ellis Genge
2. Curtis Langdon
3. Joe Heyes
4. Harry Wells
5. Charlie Ewels
6. Sam Underhill
7. Ben Curry
8. Alex Dombrandt

16. Jamie Blamire
17. Beno Obano
18. Harry Williams
19. George Martin
20. Calum Chick
21. Dan Robson
22. Jacob Umaga
23. Joe Cokanasiga (Bath Rugby, 9 caps)

I like that side. Marchant is definitely better at 13 but is also more than decent on the wing. I'd prefer to see Lawrence at 12 with Marchant at 13 and Radwan (or Lynagh) on the wing, but I'd definitely like to see Kelly so it's a bit of a trade-off.

Fair play to him. I'm starting to like the look of his mate Lynagh though.

Marchant has also caught the eye recently.
Marchant had a bit of a dip in form when he came back from NZ, but has otherwise been consistently excellent for Quins.

He really is an excellent player with no real weaknesses.

Kenningham in the squad according to "inside info" on Quins forum.

Take with a lunch of salt obvs
