Can anyone tell me why the commentators called the scrap a "Donnybrook"? I presume it wasn't after the stadium or area in Dublin...
Hmm by the sounds of it, I might give the replay a miss. Here's hoping for dramatic comeback.

There are two ways a player can ground the ball:
22.1(a) Player touches the ground with the ball. A player grounds the ball by holding the ball and touching the ground with it, in in-goal. ‘Holding’ means holding in the hand or hands, or in the arm or arms. No downward pressure is required.

There is no debate, commentators just don't know the laws. 'Try' was the only decision the TMO could make.
I agree. Looks like Smith did score, just about. Try is a try.Yep, my argument was that if the ball is in goal and you touch it (without having control), it's still a try - that's what that rule is consistent with too.
