The Premier League Thread

Well the Spannish armada at your lot seem to be setting sail for Cardiff, that win today won't do them any harm but whether they'll create the chances they did today is another question.

Injury time equaliser from Marcus Bent saved Everton from defeat against Southampton, keeps their champions league hopes on track. The Merseyside derby will certainly be a crucial factor in that fight.

Maybe the ***le race isn't quite over
<
, Man City taking a point from the Bridge. Down to 9 now.
<

Get in! That's the might of Man City for you.
<
Guarantee we lose the next game now though
<

Gap down to six after United late winner against Portsmouth, still think Chelsea will take it though. Arsenal spluttering again, may be lucky to get second place.

Good win for Everton in their champions league quest, pressure on Liverpool with the points in the bag at Goodison.

Crucial win for Palace over Birmingham, that'll certainly hurt Bruce with Johnson rubbing it in by getting both goals.

Liverpool and Chelsea not playing due to the Carling Cup, Liverpool win looks more likely at the moment despite Mourinho's denial that Chelsea are in a blip.

Villa were abismal today,

... somebody please invest... pleeaaaaaaase !

... and somebody fire a rocket up Angel's arse, this blowing hot and cold from season to season does nobody any good

Southampton - Arsenal was hilarious. Some of the tackles were awful, as was the goal by the man with the legs, Peter Crouch.

Priceless moment last night at Carrow Rd with Delia Smith making an impromptu appearance at half time
- cmon let's be havin ya

<

Don't give a crap about Deliah when Robbie Fowler pops up 2 minutes into injury time to give City the win!
<
<

Once again Kevin Keegan proves his lack of bottle and walks out on his job with things getting a little tough.
<

Keegan's a nob, never been right in the head since his stint at Newcastle when he lost the ***le to Man Utd. Be interesting to see how Pearce does.

Chelsea just continue their march to the ***le, 4-1 winners over Palace today, Arsenal and Man Utd manage to stay in touch in their futile efforts to catch Chelsea, elsewhere Bolton dig another nail into Norwich's relegation coffin, Spurs don't make it a good start for the Psycho, West Brom keep their hopes alive with a 4-1 win at Charlton and Newcastle draw 1-1 at Portsmouth, in a decent away result
