Roger Federer Crying GIF by Tennis TV

Farewell Rog. Unbelievable career.

2-2 in Laver Cup. All to play for.

Great come back from Team World yesterday to win their first Laver Cup.

Shorter format is like 20/20 version of cricket to appeal to younger audience.

Supposed to be tennis's version of Ryder Cup, but was very skewed in Europe's favour. Hopefully take off now World has won their first.

Anyone come across Padel before? Sort of a tennis / squash hybrid with low pressure tennis sized balls and undersized rackets. Court is a 3rd of the size of a tennis court with walls that can be used like a squash court. Mainly played as doubles.

Just channel hopped on it on BT sport and it's really entertaining.

Yes, always wanted to try it.

Looks like a lot of fun.

TBH the three year ban was excessive and the bigger issue was the complete farce that the Australian authorities made of the situation. Medical exemptions should have been limited purely to players who had a clear medical reason for not being vaccinated and they shouldn't have messed around with negative tests etc... Djokovic should have been informed earlier that he didn't meet the requirements to play and it should have been settled quietly. Instead it became a huge spectacle and probably helped spread anti-vax views by making Djokovic a victim.

Murray into set 5 with Berrettinni after leading 2 sets.
He really needed to win in 3. Even if he does manage to scrape the win it will really impact his next game as his main issue seems to be durability these days.

Still considering where he was it's great for him that he can still compete at this level.

Yeh, if he gets through the first week he'll consider it a success. Just remember what his surgeon told him that he has a 15% chance of destroying his metal hip if he plays for 7 years post op. So he's on year 4 by my calculation.

Good win though against Berrettini whose no mug. But he'll be kicking himself for missing that backhand when he had a match point on Murray's serve.

Emma v Coco tomorrow morning at 8am GMT. Should be a good marker to see how match fit Emma is. I know she injured her ankle in NZ couple of weeks ago. Big year for her to see if she can really kick on. Crazy she is still only 20, playing Gauff, who is still only 18.

Finished at 4am as well. What other sport does that to its players?

Meets Bautista Agut tomorrow morning. Be interesting to see how he fairs, meeting the same opponent he met at the same event in 2019 just before he had his hip resurfacing operation.

Could be the last Brit in the tournament unless Evans can beat Rublev.
