There's a huge panic among Bielorussian tourists though. The border is temporarily closed (or they'll close it starting from 12/09,not sure), and reading lots of comments from those who are going back through Poland or having their vacations already booked and paid. Doesn't matter what..oh,and they closed two airports in Warsaw (hopefully not for a long time,and I'm not sure whether it was during night only or they're still closed)
Edit: checked right now, seems that Chopin airport isn't closed but there's information about flights delays because of this situation

I presume from that, that he happens to live near where one was shot down, and got the alert similar to the UK emergency broadcast - based on location rather than country of origin or provider

I didn't get any alert hmmalthough I got previous alerts about dangerous weather conditions. But I live in Warsaw maybe that's why... anyway they actually had to send a general alert about this situation to all the people living in Poland I think. I feel for those who had an early flight today from Warsaw and didn't even know the airport was closed/flights were delayed because they didn't get any alert (at least as fyi), that's an additional stress for people to see something has happened and didn't even receive an information
Edit: damn, I actually got an alert just didn't see it checked now out of curiosity, they send something like "due to neutralisation of objects if you see drones,please inform"
