Don't think you can put Nick Evans in the top 3, no matter how good he's playing at club level. He just hasn't played enough at international, granted he's a class act, but he's still unproven at the top level. If we started chucking club players in, we'd have people arguing for the likes of Andy Goode (who has some cracking games for Leicester), Nicky Robinson (who makes the Cardiff Blues tick, though everyone knows he's rubbish as International standard).

My list would go something like:

1 Carter

then a battle between O'Gara, Hook, Stephen Jones, Giteau (again unproven at 10 at international level), Hernandez, Evans, Contepomi.

Cipriani is again unproven, with only one cap at 10. After he's played 10 or so, he can be included.

Just my views as a NH supporter who rarely get's to see any Super 14 etc. therefore doesn't get to see how 'amazing' Evans is. There's too big a difference between club and international.

Nick Evans is extremely underated, bloody good player thats stuck behind Carter, really playing a lot better with his new team the Blues. Then theres the up coming Stephen Brett whos meant to be better than Carter apparantly..

1.Matt Giteua
2.Dan Carter
3.Jonny Wilkinson
4.Nick Evans
5.Hernandez

Dunno but defo Barnes and James to fill out the 10.

How the hell is Wilkinson getting into peoples top 10. He's sh*t, and has been since 2003. I still admire him for the determination and professionalism he's shown to attempt to get back, but face it, those injuries have left him stranded. The games moved on, there's other 10's who can do all of what Wilkinson can plus a running game, things change in 5 years (hell rugby changes from year to year).

My pick for future 10 great: Daniel Biggar. Hope he follows Hook's steps and progresses through the ranks at the O's. Will be on show at the under 20's world cup for anyone who's interested.

Nobody rates Stephen Jones, the most consistent of all?

He will lead Wales to victory against the world champions this summer.
[/b]

South Africa will win 47-3.

And whoever say's Brett is meant to be better than Carter is full of himself, he get's shown up time and time again at NPC level, just look what Nacewa did to him last year.

No way will Wales loose by that margin! I see there being less than seven in it, which way? who knows at this point. I do believe Wales can win one of the tests, the first being the most likely.

Why O'Gara? What has he ever done apart from be constantly worse then Wilkinson?

1.dan carter (obviously)
2.juan hernandez (providing someone finally stopsputting at fb or centre coz he is awesome at ten)
3.contepomi ( actually he's the one that prevents hernandez from playing 10)
4.wilkinson ( nothin to say)
5.michalak (brilliant sometimes sleepy the rest of the time)
6.o'gara ( with o'driscoll one of the only decent players in irish team)
7. larkham
8.Skrela ( shame he's moving to toulouse)
9.pretorius (well he's world champ so tells everything ----> feeds habana)
10.dan parks n chris paterson (put together they culd be an awsome 10)

two for the future:
cipriani and f.steyn and beauxis ( i know thats three!)

Dan parks wtf hes closer to the worst average in defense cant pass and all he does is boot the ball up feild
and Wilkinson Used to have a place on this list but if you watch him in recent times hes only average
and Michilak and skraela how can you leave out Mat Giteau and put in Skraela. Michilack has to many of days to deserve a place on this list
the rest i agree with

Wilkinson?
Really?

Not being anti-English or anything but come on. Hes been bloody rubbish this season - been more use as a centre. I'd put Cipriani ahead of him, and he doesn't warrant a place in the top10 yet

He needs to learn how to pass first.

Pretorius? I take it you're basing your decision on his goal kicking

And no Hook or Stephen Jones!

Na O'Gara has been consistently good over the past 5 years, probably the best of the home nsations over that time anyway.

In no order
Ogara
giteau
Carter
Cipriani
Contepomi
Hernandez
Hook
No others that i get to see play stand out
