Love how sextons boss is now ROG despite him being better in every way.

Fingers crossed he doesn't start doing those midfield crossfield kicks to no one, like ROG v Scotland

Name 1 coach better than a current player. ROG is only a kicking coach which can be agreed is 1 area he mastered and Sexton recommended ROG but I will add ROG will be working with alot more than Sexton

I think ROG can/will be very successful coach particularly in kicking would love to see Sexton pick up the same tactical kicking skills as ROG.

Ronan O'Gara and Jonny Sexton going to Racing Metro in different roles is good for Irish rugby.

Sexton's move affords Ian Madigan more game time. That gives Joe Schmidt more flyhalf options next year.

O'Gara's retirement clears the path for Ian Keatley and JJ Hanrahan. That too will help Schmidt. O'Gara's earning his coaching spurs away from Ireland will broaden his knowledge of another sporting culture and in future he may come back home and get a backs or head coaching job should he prove a success. He'll be working under a couple of very successful coaches who are arriving from Castres.

What I like for Schmidt is he will have choices like for nearly every spot now that will be playing weekly.
Agreed about ROG in that he will learn over there and fact that he will be out of IRFU so he will have to earn respect as a coach and work hard is good. But part I like is he realises all this and want to learn how to develop youths which is key. As for Sexton I think it smart as ROG can help him with tactical kicking but also Sexton can bring his own routines that ROG will be familiar with and use them.
Either way Racing will be a force all over next season

Whatever people think of Connacht and the manner in which they get in to the Heineken Cup I think next season could be interesting as Pat Lam is bringing quality in and really improving the Connacht team. They might rattle a few next year. And while they won't win any group I think it's possible they will knock a big team up in Galway

Lam's done a really nice job of using his connections to sound out some nice players. Really looking forward to seeing Connacht next year. Shame about the Sinoti Sinoti deal. Haven't seen this guy before. Seems to have a big boot.
