Transfers 2013/14

Really? Id have Drahm in a heartbeat ahead of him.

Mieres is hardly a shabby replacement anyway.

Drahm on his day was quality but could be diabolical Goode gave organisation and consistency and i hope Mieres will be good but i think the lack of game time he gets at Exeter and his youth may mean that the lack of experience could make him do some dodgy things

He'll be ahead of Bowden in the line for 10, as he's being used more as a 12, but it's hard to see past him getting bench time during international periods/LV= Cup and not much else.
Tigers needed a replacement for Ford, but they've signed Lamb - signing another player for there when they've got Bowden, who can cover, seems like a waste of salary cap.

The boy is an idiot.

Flood, Lamb, Bowden ...

He would be behind Priestland, Shingler, and possibly Thomas.
More money, good experience, can't blame him.
Worked well for Shingler, just have to bring him back and then it's two years free training.

Shingler would probably play at 12. Still a poor move.

Charlie Amesbury has signed for Bristol.
Gutted about that, he's looked very good this season. Bristol must have won the lottery or something recently, splashing the cash a bit!

The majority shareholder of Bristol City, Steve Lansdowne has become a sugar daddy of sorts for the rugby side. Hence the talk about us sharing Ashton Gate in the future.

Exciting player, we've added age and experience, now we add the youth(ish).

Andy short off to bristol on loan for the rest of the season then signing with them for 2 years... liked the player he was very promising and intelligent hopefully he will do well at bristol

Under contract with Cardiff Blues until 2014, Leigh Halfpenny could join his compatriots Mike Phillips, James Hook, Luke Charteris or Jamie Roberts in the Top 14.

Indeed, according to The Rugby Paper, the Welsh full back (24 years, 43 caps with the XV Leek) is in the viewfinder of Clermont, who would like him to succeed Lee Byrne. Stay tuned.

Hasn't Byrne just re-signed for Clermont?

Sheesh, he leaves the country because his Wales shirt was taken by Halfpenny, and now he could see his ASM shirt gone too
