The former Wales and Gloucester wing is returning to rugby union after 18 months in American Football.

Any rumours of where he is going. Season too early for R360 which is where I thought he’d join.

He was out of contract with Gloucester before the NFL right so he won't have a if you return to Rugby clause. Top 14 was interested before so probably in France unless he takes a 1 year deal in England or Wales to get back in to the grove for a bigger contract.

My money is on france or Japan

Personally I reckon he doesn’t have a club lined up yet, only announced this as NFL cuts get announced soon and wants to get ahead of it

Japan season starts in Jan so could enjoy America some more, go Japan have a nice easy return to rugby and then go to the Top 14.

Let’s be real with wales rugby he will get picked for the AI’s with no rugby in the bank for years anyway

If UK, then Newcastle (gives you wings) is the obvious option.
Gloucester may be an option as well - rumours of "first refusal", and they've certainly got space under the cap, but have they got the money itself? Looking at their transfers - it's certainly realistic that they could afford him, looks like they're losing 7* capped players, with 2** incoming.

Otherwise, as he's interested in widening his horizons, then I could see NRL appealing - otherwise France or Japan if he's good at languages. No-one else in the UK will have both room under a cap, and the finances available at this point in the season (unless it's been known for a fair while, and only being announced now)

Fissler reckons Nathan Langdon is coming back to us - would be a bit surprised as I don't think we're short on a hooker, unless LCD's concussion is more serious than expected, or Caine not trusted?
Was disappointed when he left, before, but not really kicked on at Saints

Would Japan want to boost someone then joining a league which could be a danger to them. Top 14 is probably going to be less affected if R360 takes off.

Red Bull signing him short term when R360 could greatly damage the financial viability of their new investment would be a bit odd - unless the rumours they also want to invest in R360 is true

I would if I saw them on Times/Telegraph/Mail/BBC/Sky etc. I don’t really post content from rugby specific websites.

Prob not but again I do also think it’s a genuine rumour daily Mail in terms of rugby is prob the best rumour source we have.

I don’t think LRZ had got anything lined up and R360 is desperate enough to give him it. He also gets to stay in America probably IF it works.

Suspect he will have a contract that gives him like half the money up front so he’s fine regardless if the league happens or not
