Leicester coach Heyneke Meyer could retain wings Johne Murphy and Matt Smith and leave out Alesana Tuilagi and Tom Varndell from his starting side.

Meyer labelled Smith's contribution in the opening Heineken Cup win over Ospreys as "brilliant" although Murphy botched two try-scoring opportunities.

"I don't care about reputations. If a guy is playing well, we will back him," said Meyer.

Meyer added Saturday's trip to Treviso is "a game we need to get through."

"It's important that we don't care what happened previously," he told BBC Radio Leicester.

"We should stay focused, try to dominate the game and enforce our game plan."

Treviso have former Wasps and England centre Fraser Waters in their backline.

Hard not to see Leicester getting the full five here with 3 tries already in the bag at half time, leading 17-6.

Sounded like Treviso had gotten well into this game getting it back to 16-17 but Leicester seem to have responded and are now 27-16 up with the bonus point in the bag.

treviso, as with other italian clubs (and italy when they joined the 6N) will only get stronger as they are exposed to better quality opposition, and if they can keep imports such as fraser waters coming in then that can only help their development. it may take a few years, but soon the italian (any maybe even others in more years) may be able to get results that now they wouldnt even be able to dream about
