USA news & politics

Really?

I dont think Americans would agree.
Depends where you go I suppose. I’m sure there are many that don’t but then I’m sure that there are many that do (the majority even)

Leaving the people aside both countries political classes still align and would agree they do in my humble opinion.

Its interesting how anti Trumpers spin it as humiliating, MAGA and others have highlighted Putin honouring American soldiers, the B52 fly over, Putins use of English, the invite to Moscow and his claim Trump could have avoided war had hed been in office as signs of respect and even that Trump overpowered him...
Trump couldn’t over power Adam Beard.

I think Democrats and Republicans attitudes over the last decade would disagree though, as Europe leans further toward open borders, online censorship, speech restrictions, less individualism, more multilateralism, even technological advances and direction...

I mean, sure I guess? I would say it’s more on the other side of the pond that actually isn’t holding up its end in terms of democratic values but I would say that I suppose.

The good old days when the peaceful transfer of power was respected.

Even Sleepy Joe managed a classy transition of power in January despite not getting the same himself in 2020/21. Even Harris was magnanimous in defeat and kept a low profile during Trump's first 100 days. Trump's inauguration speech this year came straight from the gutter and had zero class bearing in mind how Biden conducted himself towards him on the way out.

I suspect TACO's constant slamming of Biden is down to the man child in him being unable to accept and process the L in 2020. He has another big L to process after that **** show in Alaska.

Remember, according to him, any republican who kissed the ring and a lot of MAGA supporters, there was, to this day, no loss in 2020.

At least he’ll be gone in a few years.

But his legacy will live on
Yeah that's the worry. I think @ChicagoKid is right and it will be JD Vance running for president in the next elections.

Given the amount of scrutiny that dem candidates go through re their background I hope that they focus on JD Vance and the fact he had like 20 step dads as his mum had a revolving door of husbands throughout his childhood which is obviously very much in keeping with republican, religious values. God bless the hillbillies.

I'm more worried about who's behind Vance who is really just a sock puppet.
