I didnt have 'Algae lives matter' protests on my 2026 bingo card, the reflecting pool has become such a battle ground, Trump is mocked for errors, bit also there has been a dozen arrests of people vandalising the pool, acosting national park workers, and the fight against Algae has attracted pro Algae protestors hahahaha

Is America even a real place anymore?

Kash Patel appears to have been siphoning off money from the FBI to pay massive bonuses to a small inner circle of loyalists. These payments appear to have been so large and frequent that they burned through the FBI funding and actually caused some of the payments to bounce.

Republicans in the house judiciary committee are unlikely to compel the FBI to provide the required documents but it's not a good look, on top of everything else relating to Patel.

I have always said Trump is a massive twat, I just have also thought he was the best option at the time of the elections (on a bad bunch).

Also say that because it fuks my Dad off. (he hates the guy)

Well Trump just used the G7 to smear Obama and claimed the Iranians thought he was a "stupid son of a *****".

Even for the crowd that accept Trumps vulgarity, this must be stepping over the line. It's incredible how easily his followers accept the complete abandonment of any sense of decency or decorum from Trump.
Probably a dumb question, but what did he say about Obama?

I see negotiations in Geneva are going well...
Here's an idea - I know t might e considered novel, but... have you tried NOT threatening to assassinate the negotiators?
You never know, it might just help give the impression that you're negotiating in good faith.

Well that has categorically been proven to be false. She wouldn’t have been as currupt as Trump who has enriched himself since winning last time with his dodgy crypto schemes.

I think it’s fair to say that Harris wouldn’t have gone to war in Iran and wouldn’t have just gone along with everything Netanyahu says. That alone would’ve saved America a boat load of cash and, you know, would’ve saved a few lives and all that.

She wouldn’t have tariffed the whole ******* planet. She wouldn’t have tarnished the USA’s relationship with her allies. I believe she would’ve taken stronger action in support of our allies like Ukraine and against our enemies like Putin.

The list is endless really. But here we are, people still contend he was a better option. Unbelievable really.

‘This is injustice’: how leftist zines were used to sentence anti-ICE protesters to decades in prison

Advocates sound alarm after zines were used as evidence to convict protesters of terrorism charges tied to 2025 protest at Texas ICE facility

Quoting a reaction from elsewhere:

These sentences are ridiculous. A huge threat to the possibility of a democratic society. The prosecution is rife with constitutional violations, but 30 years in prison (more than anyone for January 6) for moving some magazines? 50 years in prison even for those not involved in planning the protest? The evidence of an illegal conspiracy is non-existent, but this is how the authoritarian dragnet targets those fighting against repression.

One of the most dangerous and common forms of unconstitutional repression of the left is when the government takes one criminal act and exponentially expands liability for it through the unconstitutional targeting of peripheral people based on their political values using legal mechanisms designed to give the state maximum discretion to crush or to pardon whoever it wants. It's a classic tool of authoritarian repression, and it requires enormous vigilance in the legal system and especially vigilant judges, which in this case not only grossly abdicated that responsibility, but became an active participant in injustice.

But this has been their tactic for almost a decade now. They got their perfect storm. Texas, Texas jurors, Trump appointed or supporting judges that have no issue being political activists for the fascist takeover of the US and attempts to stomp out dissent.

We are seeing them round up protesters in Minnesota, some for just the words they posted online like "become ungovernable".

That is absurd. Getting much harsher sentences than the people who actually stormed the capitol on Jan 6th is ridiculous, especially given there doesn't appear to be evidence that many of these people were involved in the actual criminal behaviour, merely associated with people who were.

Really? Werent they arrested, dressed in black uniform, military equipment and armed fleeing the scene of the violence?

Bizarre questions and an all-male ‘jury’: woman strangled by US pilot in Britain tells of airbase trial

Sarah Steele waives anonymity to call for greater scrutiny of how US military courts are allowed to ‘rip apart’ vulnerable witnesses in the UK

A woman strangled by an American fighter pilot at his home in an English city has come forward to criticise the handling of his prosecution via a US court martial, a process she described as “military first, justice second”.

‘Degrading’: why did a US fighter pilot avoid British trial after strangling a woman in England?

Jacob Wulfson’s fellow airmen decided his fate after a court martial at RAF Lakenheath – a distressing week for Sarah Steele, the academic he assaulted.

When Sarah Steele woke up on the morning of 2 December 2023, she found herself in a pool of cold water in a bathtub. She was naked and in the apartment of an American fighter pilot she had met in person for the first time the night before. She was confused. Her head hurt, and so did her neck.
This was the account Steele, a British academic, provided to prosecutors. They later accused the pilot, Capt Jacob Wulfson, of drugging and strangling Steele in his apartment in the east of England, and penetrating her vagina with his penis without her consent.

American politics is a **** show, CPS swatting isnt new, didnt Marjorie Taylor Green make the same claim it happened to her also?

Either way, whether its CPS like Pete B or Marjory TG, racist trolling of young girls, SNL labelling young boys home school shooter, its all gross, and contributes to this toxic atmosphere where a sitting president is being attacked on a semi regular basis, everyone needs to tone down the rhetoric, itll take one brave person to speak up, its a shame Pete didnt see this as a chance to do so.

"Everyone needs to tone down the rhetoric, shame Pete didn't see this as a chance to do so"

Pete: literally says it's a problem on both sides and needs to be dealt with
Harry: He's not doing enough.

Trump: enflames things with awful rhetoric
Harry: see are you getting upset because he says nasty things?

Harry's hypocrisy and lies are astonishing

You might be right, i scanned it so may have missed where he says Republicans and Democrats should stand together, and start working on a more cordial way to politic and lead the country...

Let me know what you find, i wont hold my breathe.

Pete is an industrial plant.

Thats harsh, hes just perfectly straight looking, homosexual, family focused, down with the hood drink water out of brown glass bottle in brown paper bag in public, moderately liberal, highly commincative technotratic, former military pro reform, calm and measured gangster politician who dont take no ****...

I like him.
