Even people who on the surface appear to respect him (Netenyahu) don’t really. As Trump is easily manipulated with praise they’ll give off the appearance of respect when it’s anything but, imo.

Having said that, while Trump doesn’t really deserve respect as an individual it’s a balancing act as the USA definitely deserve respect as a western democracy. We can’t burn bridges with America because the good things about democracies is their leaders change regularly.

Seeing as they say we’re about 2-3 years behind America I’m expecting Labour to get done in the next election and Fararge becoming our new overlord.

That is true but interest rates in America are still high and his tariffs plan is just going to push up prices. More Americans will wake up and realise it's just a way to raise more tax revenue but blame it on other countries.

Even if he does persuade companies to relocate operations back to America the cost of wages/production will just see prices go up even more and that will be a red line for many.

If the Tories are serious about winning power again the smartest thing they could do is to offer Farage a route into their party via a by election after he next falls out with Reform leadership.

Badenoch is clearly toast and he'd absolutely walk a leadership contest in the absence of any credible heavyweights. He just looks and sounds like a Tory leader. It would be a horrible outcome but stranger things have happened. Many thought Boris would never become Tory leader while he was MoL.

Yeah, I trust the rights self preservation instinct to kick in closer to the election and something like this happening. It seems to me the right are much better then us at uniting their different voters under a banner against the evils of the left while we argue amongst ourselves a lot more and are concerned with ideological purity more than winning.

Yeah, we need to be better at falling in line. Funnily enough that is something the extreme left and right are good at. But normal left wing people not so much. Or at least not as good as their normal right wing counterparts.

100%. Sadly I fear no amount of lying/sophistry will get Labour a win at the next election but we can live on hope.

This is what I think and strange he keeps distancing himself from the Tories. It’s surely the easiest path to number 10 if he wants that, just as Trump took over the GOP. Or is he just happy to be a protestor to the established two party system?

I think Reform will continue to implode and the FPTP system will keep them out being a major force at the GEs. Happy for Farage to stay with them though.
