Wonder if Sepp Blatter is on the Epstein files...oh wait no there isn't any files, not now anyway and even if there was no one would be interested.
This is pretty funny. TACO was meant to hand the trophy over and then get out of the way to let the players celebrate. Maybe he's prepping for when he gets his Nobel peace prize or maybe he thinks he won the FIFA World Club Championship.
Trump says he thinks world leaders respect him... He's so delusional. He's a laughing stock amount most.
Even people who on the surface appear to respect him (Netenyahu) don’t really. As Trump is easily manipulated with praise they’ll give off the appearance of respect when it’s anything but, imo.Trump says he thinks world leaders respect him... He's so delusional. He's a laughing stock amount most.

Having said that, while Trump doesn't really deserve respect as an individual it's a balancing act as the USA definitely deserve respect as a western democracy. We can't burn bridges with America because the good things about democracies is their leaders change regularly.
Hopefully MAGA keep turning on him about the Epstein stuff or something. It’s funny how the biggest criticism he’s faced on that has been from MAGA and not the dems. The good thing is that he won't have the same power and influence throughout his entire four year term. If he fails to fix the economy, cost of living etc. he'll get rinsed at the mid terms and will become a lame duck with other Republicans distancing themselves from him and jockeying for position. We saw how lame Biden became in his last two years.
Unfortunately I don't think Trump is alone in those. The US economy is certainly stronger than the Uk's and most of Europe. The good thing is that he won't have the same power and influence throughout his entire four year term. Seeing as they say we’re about 2-3 years behind America I’m expecting Labour to get done in the next election and Fararge becoming our new overlord.Unfortunately I don't think Trump is alone in those. The US economy is certainly stronger than the Uk's and most of Europe.
Starmer will face a similar fate if he doesn't get a grip of the issues. As for the Dems they are about as impactful as the Tories are in opposition at the moment.

Yeah, I trust the rights self preservation instinct to kick in closer to the election and something like this happening. It seems to me the right are much better then us at uniting their different voters under a banner against the evils of the left while we argue amongst ourselves a lot more and are concerned with ideological purity more than winning. If the Tories are serious about winning power again the smartest thing they could do is to offer Farage a route into their party via a by election after he next falls out with Reform leadership.
Badenoch is clearly toast and he'd absolutely walk a leadership contest in the absence of any credible heavyweights. He just looks and sounds like a Tory leader. It would be a horrible outcome but stranger things have happened.
There's a reason the cliche "The Left falls in love, the Right falls in line" existsYeah, I trust the rights self preservation instinct to kick in closer to the election and something like this happening. Yeah, we need to be better at falling in line. Funnily enough that is something the extreme left and right are good at. But normal left wing people not so much. Or at least not as good as their normal right wing counterparts. There's a reason the cliche "The Left falls in love, the Right falls in line" exists
Which is weird given how many MAGA figureheads turn out to be massive noncesHopefully MAGA keep turning on him about the Epstein stuff or something. It's funny how the biggest criticism he's faced on that has been from MAGA and not the dems.
Yup, see all the "I'm not voting Starmer's Labour again - just tories with a red tie" which logically means ceding the next election to the tories with blue ties (of either hue).Yeah, we need to be better at falling in line. 100%. Sadly I fear no amount of lying/sophistry will get Labour a win at the next election but we can live on hope.Yup, see all the "I'm not voting Starmer's Labour again - just tories with a red tie" which logically means ceding the next election to the tories with blue ties (of either hue).
I dislike Starmer's Labour, and feel they sold us a lie at the ballot box. They're infinitely preferable to Badenoch's Conservatives or Farage's Biggots.
This is what I think and strange he keeps distancing himself from the Tories. It’s surely the easiest path to number 10 if he wants that, just as Trump took over the GOP. Or is he just happy to be a protestor to the established two party system? If the Tories are serious about winning power again the smartest thing they could do is to offer Farage a route into their party via a by election after he next falls out with Reform leadership.
