The Republican mega bill has passed. Going to be interesting to see how they sell it to their constituents as the ones most impacted by the negative effects will be in red states. Ballooning the deficit after crying about it and threatening government shutdown over it every 3 months after the last administration. Passing a mega bill after saying they were awful under Biden. Massive cuts to Medicare after saying they wouldn't touch it. Attempting to sneak in a provision to make the administration immune from court contempt. Slashing food programs.

The top 10% will do very well out of it. Everyone else, not so much.

Just to clarify, it's cuts to Medicaid not Medicare, two different schemes.
