What TV Show's are you watching/looking forward to?

Having a rewatch of Better Call Saul (got the box set at a sort of reasonable price) and the cast are just incredible. Odenkirk is obviously great, but Rhea Seahorn, Jonathan Banks, Giancarlo Esposito, Michael Mando, Michael McKean, the late Mark Margolis ( and others) are all just so, so well cast.

I much prefer it to Breaking Bad. (And I'm not saying that's a bad show at all, I loved it). Other than Walt's son there was barely a character I liked or sympathised with. BCS has the good Jimmy, Kim, Mike, the German engineer, Nacho etc.

It's nice to have characters to like after BB, Game of Thrones, Succession...

This is going to be a bit unpopular, butbi really struggled with Breakin Bad, i got through it but it felt like a chore, and i get the character arks writing and acting was immense, but i just couldnt get into it fully.

I havnt tried better call saul yet, is it that fifferent to BB? Is it worthy a watch?

Breaking Bad is very overated. It's decent but I hate it when people try and put it up there with The Wire and The Sopranos. It's not in the same league (nothing really is)

BCS is brilliant, though. Much better character development and writing in my opinion. BB became pretty formulaic whereas BCS is less like that. Many people that loved BB found BCS "boring" but I think it's a better show.

Its been on the list for a while, i just keep putting it off because of BB.

Loved the Sopranos, and i have never watched the wire (i know i know).

I found Breaking Bad very good but also incredibly frustrating to watch at times because of how some characters just seemed so stupid. I never got round to watching BCS but heard good things and seen some snippets.

Been watching Agatha all along, not bad so far. Also been watching Fisk, which I've liking more than I thought I would.

Been watching the latest season of Trigger Point

It's.....ok

Feels like Jack Ryan, on Amazon, where the first season was really good (JR significantly better than TP), that landed them a contract for a couple more seasons, S2 is worse but still OK but then by S3 they're all out of good ideas so just phone it in

Watch BCS. It's much lighter and you don't hate every single character

Pluribus episodes 1 & 2. Vince Gilligan is back with a new series not set in the Breaking Bad-Better Call Saul universe. First episode has some similarities to those shows but it's very different by the end. Second episode I was less impressed with; if it's going to be this humerous the whole time I'm not sure it's for me. I will watch episode 3.

I don't watch the traitors or any celebrity show. But the BBC is showing why the traitors is such a big hit and I'm a celbrity is in the dulldroms from thier contestend and strictly to.

Celebrity & Strictly read likes a bunch of hasbeens and whosthats?
Traitors had actual starts
(On a similar vein I do watch Taskmaster even thought I;m way behind and that usually does an exceeltn job in its panel each season for variety of people)

Mad the push that celebs who appear on Traitors get as well, Marler is absolutely everywhere atm - even my mom was asking me if I knew who he was because she saw him on Saturday Kitchen and loved him haha
Joe Marler?! In a certain cooking show?!?

Stranger Things season 5 reviews make me feel good for quitting after season 3. Season 1 was a good horror series that emulated the look and feel of 1980s movies. By season 3 it was about fighting 1980s references and anything could be a joke. Sounds like now at the end they lost interest on even making it be about growing up.

Fun fact: In the time it's taken to film and release 5 seasons of a TV show Millie Bobby Brown has gone from 11-years-old to married and raising a kid.

I don't really get that line of complaints either, tbh - COVID and writers strikes will do that to ya. It's definitely been slow, but it's not egregious

It's not like the age differences between the actors and their characters is unusual for TV - the main kids are currently the same age as Steve was in S1, but the actors were 2yrs younger, during filming, than Steve's actor was in S1
