Reports suggest Richard Hill will be sacked by Worcester and replaced as head coach by former Gloucester coach and now man of a million part time consultancy roles Dean Ryan. The sacking would seem to be a little harsh with Hill keeping them up two years in a row and getting them promoted, and also it wasn't Hill's fault that they have been unable to retain their top homegrown players such as Tom Wood, Graham Kitchener, Miles Benjamin, Matt Mullan and Matt Kvesic. But then on the other hand perhaps the Worcester owners have decided not to settle for mediocrity and simply aren't happy with 9th/10th and no longer see that as good enough after they seem to finish there every season. Will be interesting to see if Dean Ryan can be a success at Worcester.
