No, you're putting words in my mouth. What I was saying was that it appeared the dog piling had stopped and one of the last posts I remember him making was apologising which I thought was a classy thing to do. Not everyone has him on ignore mate. People still engaged with him fairly without dog piling.

I would never put anything in your mouth, well thats not strictly true, if i were offered a RWC win i might just consider it...

Looks like Putins not playing ball.

Butters Trump up to get him to pull out of the tomahawk deal then slaps him in the face again when he gets what he wants.

Trump has been played over and over by Putin and keeps falling for it. Supposed allies have been punished for far far less than an actual enemy.

I wonder if he will ever wake up to the realisation that Russia are going to keep dangling the carrot of peacemaker in front of Trump and then sabotaging every attempt at peace. Russia cannot be brought to the table for proper, reasonable peace talks without being put in the position where continuing is worse than stopping.

Yeah my understanding is Russia wants Donbas and for the Ukraine to give up arms. The US can't agree to that so basically Trump has nothing to go with. He won't convince Europe either

I think Trump would happily sell out and let Putin take the Donbas if it meant ending the war but Ukraine and Europe will have told him it's a big fat red line with them. The risk of an easy win for Putin is him feeling emboldened and thinking he can crack on with the rest of Ukraine and then the Baltics in a year or so.

It's like nobody learned anything from appeasing Russia with Georgia, Crimea or when they were pratting about in Eastern Ukraine pre-war. A Russia that thinks it can do whatever it wants and the west will blink first is a Russia that will therefore do whatever it wants.

You'd think some countries were more interested in cheap fuel and Russian money. We wouldn't possibly follow that path with China

There is no 2 ways about it, it is blatant abuse of power by Johnson. Whilst there have been other cases where seating was delayed, having someone not be seated over a month from the election because the speaker has simply decided not to do it with no actual reason why the person shouldn't be seated is unprecedented.

His own excuse that he can't do it whilst Congress is in recess is ******** as he swore in 2 Republicans during recess the day after they were elected.

ChatGPT wasn't very sympathetic to your opinion that Obama's and trumps policies had a lot of similarities @dirty harry

I won't post on here but I've not known ChatGPT be wrong about anything. Just look at the recent South Park episode. We should just let it run the country at this point. All hail ChatGPT.

I spat my tea out you git hahahaha

We agree on Border crime and Healthcare though, I think thays been proven without a shadow of a doubt, border policy and crime are very similar, and healthcare is more similar than different.

What's next?

I don’t agree with anything. The only thing I will concede is that there will be some overlap on stuff but ultimately there’s far more differences than similarities.

If you want to show me specific bills and policies I can do the same from chat GPT and it isn’t pretty.

What? You are seriously making the claim Obama the deporter in chief, tough on crime tough on border security, who voted for a hard border in 2006, built detention centres and increased ICE powers has more border policy differences to Trump than similarities?

Your trolling me, I dont believe your making that claim!

I've asked you to provide me with specific bills and polices (preferably at least 3 or 4 things) for each area of politics. When you've done that (or even just send me a link to an article or 2 that supports your claim that there are many similarities between Trump and Obama polices) then we can go through it point by point.

No politician is going to campaign on "open borders" or "let's start wars" so I will happily concede, that if you want to do some surface level analysis, you will find some cross over between them. However, when you get into the weeds, you'll find there's far more differences than similarities.

Biden didnt campaign on open borders, but hos border policies were radically different to Trump and Obamas, as seen by the outcome numbers.

TBH, this is such low level knowledge I would expect anyone so passionate about this discussion to have, I dont think its worth getting into, you are well aware of Obamas reputation on border policy, and it being like for like (depending on which stance you take Obamas actions were far worse).

When I keep saying it's like people have only started looking into politics since 2016 this is what i mean, pre 2016 these border and crime policies were Democrats, they've only U turned the very day Don stood on that elevator.

Looking back at the 2016 campaign now is hilarious, I would have been one of the lefties screaming and laughing at his run, although I probably took him more serious than most mod campaign when he started overcoming 3 things a week that would have sunk anyone else's campaign.

One of the funniest things in politics history was watching TYT (yes i ised to consume that trash for a period) on election night, christ that was eye opening.
