Bond, James Bond.[/b]

So we are on the eve of the latest Bond Film "Casino Royalle" which just so happens to be the actual first adventure of Mr. Bond. Being a huge fan of all things 007 I'm quite excited. So, I thought having a topic of discussion dedicated to the man & legend would be appropriate.

Who, in your opinion was the best Bond? Having asked this question (see the above poll) how then would you rank the Bonds?

Sean Connery has the voice and style that I would associate with Bond, but I did think Brosnan had the look. Too bad Brosnan was/is a pussy. The others aren't worth talking about.

agree, the new one looks like a ****. also like roger moore, he also have the way of talking and the maners of a brit ... connery is a scott ... but he's more stylish. i like pierce but i think connry is defenetly james bond

But they are....Bourne doesn't rely on improbable invisible cars. I'm right on this one.

'cause he's that well trained...you don't think back to lessons in a gym when executing martial arts, it's reflex. Bourne is properly nails.

The new one is meant to be grittier...I am looking forward to it and I never usually bother with Bond.

bof for me austin power is crap ... james bond is not a movie to watch for realism and that sort of thing. i watch it more for the actions, grils and gadgets ...
i also like roger moore. he's the representant of the british james bond for me. connery is more the incarnation of the western spy, fighting against the comunism.

and what is Bourne (apart from my ancesters name) ? i didn't get it ...

Booooo! Not even comparable.

The problem with the last batch of Bonds was not Brosnan, though, but the writing. The bad guys weren't evil enough. Hopefully they watched the back catalogue of 007 films and got what worked in the Connery and Moore films.

bourne gets what? 2 girls thru out the entire trilogy? and bond get at least 3 each film, not couting the dozens who swoon but r uncredited...
