i know this is getting repetitive....but...anything could happen....i honestly dont know...looking forward to the smith v Falau clash though!

Yeah, both teams with a lot of firepower here. Smith has been incredible this season, and the match will be a huge step up in intensity from the Brumbies match last week for us.

Losing the Dennis will hurt us - he does a lot of work people just don't appreciate - but we've been pretty good against NZ teams so far, beating both the 'Canes and the Chiefs in cracking matches. Probably should have pipped the Blues too, but poor execution killed us.

i don't have any expectations really...tahs have been pretty flash so far...have a bad feeling we'll be going to chch next week needing a win...upside being i should be going to that game

Go the Mighty Highlanders!

Overall I'm pretty happy with the side we have selected. I'm not quite sure how Mitchell has leap-frogged both Coltman and Robinson into the starting hooker spot. He is a very mobile player (and excellent at the breakdown), but I would have preferred Coltman's physicality against the Tahs pack, and the lineouts were a bit of a mess last weekend too. Great to see Franklin starting at lock again - it's a pity it took so long for him to get his chance! I would normally prefer Evans over Dixon (due to his breakdown prowess), but I'm happy to see Dixon starting against the Tahs because of his extra size/physicality (and Mitchell makes up for missing Evans at the breakdown). The backline more or less picks itself, though I still can't understand why Burleigh continues to be included on the bench (luckily he will be gone next season!).

I don't have a lot of hope we will win this match, but I have written off our chances in a few matches this season and been proven completely wrong. Horne and AAC form a forimidable combination in the midfield on defense, so I feel our best chance will be to attack out wider. Alofa looks a solid enough defender, but Osbourne is not easy to stop, while Buckman's style (run straight at the defender) could cause Beale some issues on the other side. If we kick we need to make sure our kick-chase is very good, as Folau is not going to drop the ball and can be punishing on the counter-attack....

As much as I want the Highlanders to win I think the Tahs will prove to be too good. I'm picking them by 10, but would probably be happy is we managed to pick up a losing bonus point...

This is an important game for the Tahs and I think they will come through in front of what I am expecting to be a strong home crowd at the excellent Allianz stadium. Really - we should be having more afternoon games at Allianz!

Looking forward to seeing the Folau and Smith match up in particular.

I'm very excited for this game. I can't wait! Personally, I think Tahs or Landers would be a worthy champion of this season.

Both teams have done well this year and deserve recognition for all rugby supporters.

I hate hate hate how A Smith has a tendency to stand and point at a problem in a ruck or maul... No HL players anywhere near it mate get in there and sort it!

That was pathetic from the HL they actually deserve a yellow at the end of it aswell.

That is about the easiest 90 metres up field you'll ever see.

Try Horne..... where was the Highlanders defense? The Tahs had a 3-man overlap....
