2023-2024 transfers

Agreed. I can't say I know anything about Theobald-Thomas, but Hatherell will suit Tigers perfectly and Bassett and Shillcock are good Premiership players.

Jannes Kirsten leaving Chiefs at the end of the season to go to the Bulls, knew it was coming, just waiting on Nowell and Williams to confirm now.

LCD
Williams*
Van Heerden
Kirsten
Ewers
SSimmonds
JSimmonds
Nowell*

Hopfully that will be a full list

Montpellier are recruiting in England, they have secured the signings of third row Sam Simmonds, hooker Luke Cowan-Dickie and Harry Williams from the chiefs of Exeter.

Contract extensions for Simon McIntyre, Joe Jones, Tommy Taylor, Ewan Murphy, Rouban Birch, Sam Dugdale, Cal Ford and Arron Reed

Pleased with all of them but especially McIntyre - he's been so good since his return, and looks to have put the injury issues he had before behind him as well
Made up for Birch and Dugdale as well - were let go during COVID, when their contracts expired, then brought back as injury cover not long after and have taken their chances with both hands

Bevan Rodd, Raffi Quirke, Rob du Preez, Tom Roebuck, Joe Carpenter, Sam James, Tom Curtis, Tumy Onasanya, Ethan Caine, Ben Bamber, Connor Doherty and Joe Bedlow all activate optional extensions to their contracts too (mixture of 2yr and 1yr extensions)

Between all of that, and the Du Preez twins signing new deals, it feels like that's the lions share of our squad locked down - next priority is securing the Curry twins signatures

Will you guys have the cap space ,or will 1 go.
Which for them maybe a chance to step out of shadow that has been dwelling for last couple of years ?

Sanderson hinted today that the squad has agreed to take paycuts so that we don't need to trim a bunch of players to stay under the reduced cap

My hope/prediction is Manu leaves, T.Curry becomes out marquee player and we retain both

Alex Nankivell signs for Munster from the Chiefs. Looks like a nice bit of business. Played against our emerging and A squads over the summer on the back of a good SR season.

Prop Murray MaCallum confirmed from Edinburgh to Newcastle on a two year deal from next season.
