A Political Thread pt. 2

I know the whole situation is ridiculous anyway, but can someone explain wtf is up with royals releasing a photo on their birthday? I don't give a **** about them as a whole, but it's just a really weird way to celebrate your birthday.

Bigger and better than any Ponzi scheme. Privileged elites who demand a media spotlight to promote the brand but complain about it and get their army of expensive lawyers on the case when it doesn't suit them. Elites who deserve oscars for pretending to care about the plebs who cheer them on.

I will applaud the journo or media outlet that eventually does a deep dive into how much they are rinsing Joe Public with all the land that they acquired illegally that could be sold with the proceeds going to the taxpayer to help with cost of living etc. Not to mention GB energy where they are again rinsing the taxpayer with all these new wind farms.

Not saying they should be abolished as I have nothing against Charles but they should be slimmed down so that all the cousins, hangers on, nonces and ladies in waiting are told to GTF and earn a living for once in their lives.

PR. Got to keep themselves relevant.

What will Iran's response be? It's not like they can go into open warfare with the US, but they have their fingers in many radical/extremist groups pies

Their defences are weak but the regime are a scummy lot. I heard one commentator say that they could target American citizens abroad with terrorist activities. Cyber war is another option.

Sounds like Trump is hoping this is a quick in and out mission. Can't see it myself. He's opened the can.

I don't see what they can really do tbh
Sleeper cell stuff maybe?

Russia is preoccupied with Ukraine still to be an ally, china won't make a move.

Honestly I have no idea what is next, Isreal are prob going to try and puts troops in the ground next

Can't see how, Israel have to get past Iraq, Syria, Jordan and Saudi to put troops on the ground in Iran.

The US is doing a grand job of destroying itself already. 😂

Would Syria, Iraq or Jordan stop them? Not sure anyone else in the middle east will side against Israel at the minute

Interesting where Iran go from here...

Their Axis of resistance is struggling, Hamas is obviously on life support, Hetzbollah have been all but neutralised, and Syria have even expelled militias loyal to Iran. Which only leaves PMF and Houthis whenever any considerable numbers. Both of these groups have stated retaliation against US bases would be instant if the US made a move. Let's see if these words were hollow.

On the bigger picture, Russia already have their hands full, and well we saw them helplessly watch what happened in Syria recently, China have competing agendas, so don't think they have the will to support, which only leave Pakistan as Irans strongest ally.

Pakistan has used strong rhetoric, but ultimately like China probably hasn't then will to physically support Iran.

So it seems Iran desperately need to negotiate, theor instinct would be to get the word out and call for all out religious war, but it's 2025 and that rally cry doesn't have the momentum in a middle east that is more transactional than previous especially with regards to the USA.

Which leads finally to Irans last options... closing the strait of Hormuz, and putting pressure on economically.

The real threat, as pointed out above though, is all analysts agreeing that Iran are isolated, and the risk of any support outside of major countries posting 'thoughts and prayers' on social media is minimal, this is when some sort of strike out of nowhere causes huge damage, and becomes a catalyst for further and wider engagement, and that's exactly what Irans gameplan would do, attempts to instigate an 'Islamic army'.

On a lighter note, its a good time to invest in Iranian flags, and sell them to the pro protestors during the next week!

So much for not getting into wars overseas. How will MAGA twist this in their minds?

They're saying it was necesary to disarm Iran for the good of the west, and the timing now is perfect to do this. They are stating that all western leaders want this, but none have the abilities or gumption to take action.

I was given an explanation earlier that these strikes were a message to all of the middle east, and its allies that the US can target any military base with ease, regardless of how hidden and fortified. The bunker busters Isreal weren't able to perform are a step up in capabilities, and that this strike will give Iran no option but to come to the table and make a deal.

Interestingly, some MAGA fans see Isreal as the key to keeping radical Islam in check worldwide, especially with regards to Iran. This view would be aligned with Irans and their radical elements thoughts, who promote destroying Isreal as the key to the downfall of the west.

Im not convinced, but there is certainly a discussion of Isreals strategic importance, and the USA needing to support it regardless of situation, genocide or not.
