A Political Thread pt. 2

Interesting article. I think Lib Dems need to go back to electoral reform. It's controversial enough to grab headlines and they could steal it out from under reform with a well thought out campaign.

I'm sure many might be hesitant after last time, but I'm sure support has grown across the country and this time they just don't sell their soul for a little bit of power.

They're definitely in a strong position to nab both Tory and Labour votes at the moment.

I don't think Davey swan diving from a hovercraft into an alligator pool wearing 'vote yellow!' Speedos would be terribly helpful next time, so they need to start getting policies out there instead.

The biggest problem for them is getting the Beeb to stop disproportionately focusing on reform and its whopping four MPs, all of whom are *****.

That's why I feel they need a big headline policy that is newsworthy. Electoral reform would do that and take the light off reform who are completely focused on immigration and being ****.

Probably because at the moment Lib Dems have even less chance of winning a GE. Under PR Reform would have had more seats.

Former Labour MP Zarah Sultana has accused Jeremy Corbyn and other members of a new left-wing party of "baseless attacks" on her character and said she is consulting lawyers.

From all that I've read, it's Sultana who has been attacking the others in the 'party', unless people can point me otherwise?

Feels like she went ahead charging people to join the party when it wasn't agreed by everyone.
