This is the problem with this country. The ultra wealthy fleece us, break the law then play silly games to avoid accountability. All parties involved made plenty of money for breaching a contract with the government yet none are going to be held to account. It's disgusting.
Individuals should not be shielded if they engage in illegal activity whilst heading up a company and making millions in the process.

I suspect there is plenty of stuff we don't know about that would dwarf the expenses scandal. Insider trading (Truss' mini budget) and more PPE contract shenanigans (Matt Hancock's neighbour) and that's probably the tip of the ice berg.
No doubt Baroness Mone will **** off to Dubai and get away with having to pay the money back. It's not Govt money, it's taxpayers' money that was provided by the average Joes.

When the company my GF worked for folded, neither the police nor administrators gave a **** about evidence of mass fraud, including the pension fund being raided.
I have zero confidence in anyone doing anything. The law only applies to the average person, not the wealthy.
