Forget about the distractions of the fancy-boys of the international game with their fancy beats headphones, immaculate sideburns and walking advertisements for brylcream....

Its now time for the real rugby - blood, muck, sweat and rising steam of the winter Pro12!!!!

Previews
Hard to say how teams will respond to the mini-break.

Connacht to firmly overcome their pre-season hangover and beat the Blues convincingly.
Ospreys to upset Glasgow by dint of not having all their players playing the next day.
Leinster to beat Scarlets 'cos the Scarlets couldn't beat eggs.
Ulster to limp home against Zebre 'cos we are crap.
Munster to beat Treviso as they have too much pashun (and Erasmus is building something).
This is a game the Dragons can win. But they won't.

As usual, if anyone has TV info, please post in the thread - might be useful to someone.

Ulster vs. Zebre is off.

Both teams decided that you can't have the main event before the curtain raisers. So will let the internationals play tomorrow without them looking like a poor afterthought.

Or it could have been a frozen pitch, take your pick.

Connacht were far weaker than I was expecting in the international window and Scarlets were far stronger but I think there is a chance of home wins across the board. Leinster and Edinburgh most likely to pick up the away wins.

Scarlets looked good tonight. They've stumbled across a good pack who's winning them ball, getting them on the front foot and for once strong in the mauls. Elias, James Davies, Will Boyd & Aaron Shingler are so dynamic around the park! I'd have Elias in the Welsh squad for the 6 nations, and seriously consider the other 3 as well. There's a lot of competition in the back-row though.

Despite the loss, there were a number of positives for Leinster. Adam Byrne must be pushing for a starting place when everyone is back. Noel Reid was decent in midfield. Rory O'Loughlin and Ross Byrne got game time in positions where Leinster lack depth. Jack Conan carried and tackled strongly. Dan Leavy once again showed he's becoming a quality player. Andrew Porter was industrious when he came off the bench.

Lack of discipline was a huge black mark though. Scarlets fully deserved their win.

Didn't catch the game last night Snoop but Adam Byrne has really stepped up for ye. What was red for.

We had great win today and have thankfully developed huge depth.
