Stade de France, Paris - 13/10/2012 (14:35)

TV: Canal+/Sky Sports

Munster to get a point and maybe even more......Paris to be over run by the Irish spectators!!

That will be two weekends in a row that Paris has been overrun by the Irish. Last weekend was the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe at Longchamp racetrack!

If Metro win this Munster wont get out of the group. Metro will take it seriously if they get a win and I don't see Munster beating us away from home. I reckon it could be between us and Racing.

Munster team:

Replacements: Mick Sherry, Marcus Horan, Stephen Archer, Dave O'Callaghan, Paddy Butler, Peter Stringer, Danny Barnes, Denis Hurley.

Gutless call by Penney to play ROG. Keatley is the man on form. Munster to lose now, despite having POC back.

Very disappointing to say the least. Hes picked on reputation alone. ROG is past it. He can't run with the ball, can't defend and his kicking distance is gone. He is still an accurate ground kicker and good passer but so is Keatley.

Its POCs first game for 5 months or so. He can't be right. Billy Holland is an honest pro but won't strike fear into the opposition and Donnacha Ryan has been moved to the backrow. Munster should dominate the lineouts but the scrums are a different matter.

I am very disappointed with Penney. Keatley is being shoved in at fullback just to accommodate ROG's ego. Billy Hollands is no more than a Celtic League player, and an average one at that. How can you go to France without a competent scrum?

Come on Penney, this is simple stuff...... Dare I say that McGahan would have main some of the bold decisions!

Replacements: 16 Thomas Bianchin, 17 Eddy Ben Arous , 18 Benjamin Sa, 19 Fabrice Metz, 20 Bernard le Roux, Sebastien Descons, 21 Camille Gerondeau, 22 Sebastien Descons, 23 Virimi Vakatawa.

Racing just announced that JM Hernández will start at 12 instead of Fabrice Estebanez, who got injured during warm-up.

Barnes going for ROG and POC to run the game and for Munster to come away with 10/12 point win........!! Ummm the same ROG who is passed it and POC who is playing his first game in a year......should be worth the watch before the big one later then!!

Is it possible that Munster are way ahead of the ref's call at the scrum or is that a sound delay!!

Irrelevant really...................Munster are absolutely killing them 0.10 after 16 minutes and Racing hardly had ball............

Racing try straight from a terrible pass from O'Gara. Especially funny as only a minute before B****s was gushing over a simple kick into the corner.

Looks like a half time lead for Racing.....who would have thought after 15 minutes!!

13:10 and 1 minute to go..........................

When will they get rid of Barnes from the com box?

You do not suppose he will go to BTvision do you like Brundle does with F1....................there is a thought..............bring back Peter West I say!!

Why's this match at a half empty Stade de France rather than a fuller Stade Colombes?

They sold out two Paris derbies and a match against Toulouse there last season , but this match doesn't seem to be so well attended.

Looks like some 20,000 there whereas their home stadium only holds 14000..............

I guess the low turn out is because no one knows what team will be put out, the weather is shite and it is only a qualification game..............

Munster now have a chance as ROG has gone off!! Still stick with Racing and bonus point to Munster despite my early wobbles!!

Awfully boring game in progress, weather doesn't help. Munster playing some stupid rugby. Why do they not just kick to touch instead of running everywhere.

Connor Murphy......good game? Two professional fouls and the gift of a macth winning penalty to Racing to make me right........good on yer lad!!

Man of the match must be barkley....

Barnes eat your words AGAIN!!!

Conor Murray is crap, just cost them the match with that foolish piece of play.

Why an earth does Kidney pick him ahead of Reddan?

It is now a case that Munster are the 3rd strongest team in Ireland. They play like headless chickens. Stringer should have been on early in the second half.

For once, the referee has done a fair match, very rare with french clubs involved in HCup. Unlike Mr small yesterday. Match a bit boring overall due to the weather conditions, Munster definitely not the same as latest years but good racing team also.

Not bad but would query early scrum from Munster right at start, two professional fouls by Murray unpunished, a penalty from one of those not given......thought Small was better actually!

Kidney has no reason to pick Murray over Marshall now

100% agree but his head seems to turn west rather than North for some unknown reason....................
