Hi guys,

I thought i'd raise the issue again of a Legends MOD. I think it has promise, and can be started asap for R08.. but it'd have to be a collective effort from all TRF modders to get it into full-swing. We are gonna need a lot of cyberfaces, plus a few coders/roster editors and kit/graphics makers. I have started on a roster and kits.

We'd have to decide who is going to be in the rosters and what teams will be patched and get some kind of community project going. We all seem to patch, but ot or any particular mod projects.. and it'd galvanise the forum a bit.

If anyone wants to join this mod or the sanzar mod, feel free.. just let me know.

There are some Legends faces ingame already ,like Tana Umaga, Taine Randell ,Christian Cullen ,Mathew Burke , Lawrence Dallaglio, Richard Hill ,Serge Betsen , Justin Marshall ,Christophe Dominici,Rupeni Caucaunibuca ,Os du Rant,Agustin Pichot,etc plus other faces that are in 06 like Big Jonah,Lizandro Arbizu and I´ve recently downloaded Rugby 2005 so there has to be some older faces

Well, it's a good thought.. that's partly why i planned legends patch.. the game is out of date, so it has plenty of old faces and com names too.

I think Tana Umaga and Os Du Randt are living legends

No comment about Jonah Lomu, he is more than legend

And I think Joe Rokocoko faces the same future: Hall of Fame

They should have 10-pin rugby. Simply, line-up 10 players in a triangular formation and get Ma'a Nonu to run into them fell pelt. STTRRRRRIKE!

I´ll like to see the Auckland Blues Champions of the Super 12 of 2003, with Carlos Spencer,Joe Rocokoco,Doug Howlett,Mils Muliaina,Rico Gear and RUPENI CAUCAUNIBUCA, that was the fastest backs line in that time, great handling game, many set plays and SPEED ,SPEED and more SPEED.

Ok, just bumping this back up.

This is what i have come up with for the national teams. It will have teams from 1970-2007. The RWC 2007 mode will remain the same, with all the teams from France 2007, as many of them have unremarkable teams in the past.

So here is the selections for the 22 national teams and the 6 representative teams, i think it's fairer than trying to fit 30 years worth of players into 30 places. Plus, each team will have it's years kit.

In reverse order:

For the clubs, i weill keep the Premiership as all-time selections, but they will have two of their most well-known retro or classic kits. Rosters will go back to 1990.
