Premiership Rugby 23/24 - Rd 4

That game was so much closer than the score said, not that the 3 bristol crossfield kicks wernt great pieces of skill or deserved because they were, but id say we were much the better team for most of that game.

Have to tighten up that defence out wide

Well we're going down down down...unless we fluke the relegation playoff or the upcoming team doesnt have the facilities.

Is there relegation? I didnt know that was back this season.
I think it's pencilled in, but we're due to find out in November/December when the new Professional Game Agreement is finalised and announced.

Yeah i thought it was definately back...a playoff game between bottom of prem and top of Champs.

So likely us v Ealing.

Naa, Come on Donny Knights! In all serious a Yorkshire team in the prem would be great, just shame it would come at the expense of another northern team,

Do not want another London team

Fluctuations of form (rolling 4 weeks).

Week 4.jpg

First measure was after Wk 2 of the Prem (each Prem team played 2 other Prem teams in the PRC, so that was the first time there were 4 week's of form from this season)

Is that right? I thought Bath were at 1 the whole time until this weekend.

There had been a couple of times I'd made stupid mistakes in my data input (like doing 2 teams for a match, and giving them each other's results, or once getting points difference and "league" points in the wrong columns.
Became obvious this week, when all the numbers should match the Prem table - I blame doing it under the influence of insomnia a couple of times.

I've double and triple checked this morning, so it SHOULD be right.

Why do Chiefs go down at the start, wernt they No1 after round 1?
Because it's the rolling 4-match's worth of form.

PRC 1 : Victory over Bristol by 75
PRC 2 : Loss to Bath by 20
Prem1: Victory over Sarries by 55
Prem2: Loss to Quins by 8
So Wk1 is 10 points, with a PD of 102

Then you drop PRC1, and add Prem3: Victory over Sale by 43
So Wk2 is 10 points, with a PD of 70

Then you drop PRC2, and add Prem4: Victory over Bristol by 9
So Wk3 is 15 points, with a PD of 99

ETA: And... I'd missed off NEwcastle's LBP in the 2nd round of the Prem.

Oh its not the last 4 games? I assumed it was id go by 4 prem games for a form guide.

I was of the opinion that form from 6 months ago wasn't terribly... form.
Equally, matches against Championship sides weren't a great guide (nor were matches between 2 Prem teams in the PRC, it was just the best available)

Hence what's written in the OP
