Before the season started PSA in concurrance with the FFR produced a list of 30 players who could play no more than 30 games per season, Internationals and TOP 14, and ECC pool games, included (not the playoffs), all very well and good, the players would be refreshed and in good physical shape ready for the challenge of the Autumn Internationals and the 6 Nations, all this of course in preparation for next years World Cup. Although the clubs were not over the moon by the decision, they more or less took it on board, and started limiting the matches played by these elite 30 players, we have already played 6 weekends of TOP 14 and 3/4 pre season matches those also included.
Sunday evening PSA released the names of the 30 players who will be present at the camp before the Autumn Internationals, low and behold 12 of the players included in the pre season list of the 30 protected players are no longer on the list, ok there are a couple of forfeits, Szarzewski and Picamoles both injured long term, but the other 10!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The clubs and their coaches start the season knowing full well that they have to protect the choosen few against game time, if they are to use them at the end of the season, and now they are not going to use 10 of them for the Internationals..
Just another example of PSA brain storming, now maybe some of you will understand why its not the money offered in the TOP 14 or the foreigners invading the TOP 14, that is bringing the National squad onto it's knees, Just pure and simple PSA running the National squad as an INCAPABLE!!!!

it's been a glorious circus of inglorious event upon event...upon event............

upon event.

how do you think these clubs will feel now. Do you think they will play ball with LNR all the way to the play-offs?

Can't they change the list? Surly it just works better for both parties obviously its not ideal but why did they try and pick this so far out anyway? The whole thing seems to be a bit stupid and unfortunate but easily resolvable.
