Some kind of java chat window?

Just throwing this out there, not sure if it's been mentioned before.

How about some kind of chat window, would be great to get some 'live' interaction with other users during games.

May be a good/bad idea, but just sprang to mind during the France/NZ game with the rapidity of updates on the thread.

We've tried it before and it was pretty much dead.
You'd get one or two in the room, the rest still in the thread.

Ah ok, wasn't sure how popular it would be. How about a chatroom that automatically orders and provides free beer to everyone in it?
