Same thing with Isreal. If anything it's got a lot worse since he became president again. It was always a ridiculous narrative that the world was a safer place when he was in the White House.![]()

It's a performance. He doesn't really mean it in either case.Same thing with Isreal. If anything it's got a lot worse since he became president again. It was always a ridiculous narrative that the world was a safer place when he was in the White House.
Seems a bit weird that the one area where Ukraine is clearly superior in every way to Russia is presented as giving Russia the edge![]()
Fibre optic drones: The terrifying new weapon changing the war in Ukraine
The BBC reports from Donetsk where swarms of fibre optic drones give Russia the edge as Ukraine defends towns behind the front line.www.bbc.co.uk
In terms of fibre optic drones Russia have had the edge for a whileSeems a bit weird that the one area where Ukraine is clearly superior in every way to Russia is presented as giving Russia the edge
Is that despite Ukraine having more of them, that go further and carry more; and have been the originator of every innovation (including fibre optic controls and AI)?
Ukraine uses remote control first person dones on the front line (bigger ones for hitting strategic targets) these can be jammed with EW but they are cheap and effective. The Russians have gone down the fibre optic route because they can't be jammed and they have the capacity to make them unlike the Ukrainians who's military industry is much smaller. It's horses for courses but the fibre optic ones are probably going to be the choice for more modern armies
Oh absolutely. Ukraine have set up a warfare school in Poland to train NATO forces on drones etc....but apparently they haven't said thank you![]()
UK turns to AI and drones for new battlefield strategy
The strategic defence review, announced by the government last July, will be published on Monday.www.bbc.co.uk
Funny you say that, is it possible that after watching the use of large scale drone warfare in Ukraine other armies may be re-evaluating the use of drones?
