Transfers rumours

J Woodward Bristol-----> Gloucester

My Harlequins Heart cries

Same here. Just a rumour at the moment though AFAIK. If he's not coming to Quins, I'd much rather he went to Exeter.

Gloucester already have Marshall which would make it a bit of an odd choice.

Whilst Exeter only have Turner, Dollmam, Nowell and Slade

Nowell and Slade aren't specialist fullbacks and Woodward is probably better than Dollman (who is also getting on) and Turner.

Woodward vs. Marshall is much harder to call IMO. Pretty even based upon this season.

Added to that I'd rather any good EQ fullback was starting as regularly as possible. If Woodward is going to take someone's place, I'd prefer it wasn't another EQP's, which obviously wouldn't be an issue with Dollman or Turner.

Jace Taute set to stay with us.
Francis Saili to Quins

Also big news. Talks are on about Ultan Dillane coming home. But I hope it doesn't happen as I want guys to honour contract

Picamoles to Montpelier

Shame that, if true

Agreed, I've enjoyed watching him play every time I've had the chance. Wasn't he contracted for three years when he joined Saints? If I'm right, saidn't should at least get something back from the deal. Someone on another forum said that Saints were after Beaumont, which would make more sense if Picamoles is on his way, although I believe he's one year into a three year contract too.

Fofana to Montpelier Fruean to Edinburgh, so goes the rumour...

Can't see either of them quite making sense?

Wesley Fofana played under Vern Cotter at Clermont before Cotter went to Scotland and will take over at Montpellier in the close season so maybe Vern made him an offer he couldn't refuse.

Parling to Mystery Clubs in Japan/ Australia, life in the old dog yet?

'Definitely not a falling out' says Baxter

James Ryan starts for Munster in a trial game today vs Ireland 20s. It seems a full contract is on table to take him from Leinster.

Leinster's time to whinge! Definitely a ploy to get a better Ster contract.
You'd wonder why Munster would even play him today though as he's obviously not contracted to us and we get nothing out of an obvious contract game? Really weird situation. No way Leinster would let him go unless there was an agreement he'd come back after a year or something. I doubt this is agent mind games at all, just fitness. #munsteraresound
On another note because I doubt we're signing him, he's apparently bulked up a lot and Murray Kinsella seems to be tipping him to tour Japan, him playing for us today is for fitness.

Being honest hadn't heard him mentioned BUT was at game today. Big gap between today and Pro12 game never mind international. Also if he has a shot of touring with Ireland he should be playing even off bench with Leinster.
Rumoura are we have offered a deal. I though he had a senior deal already but not sure. He would be much higer up pecking order here and certainly we would be happy with him. Also can ad it is 100% not agent games as we can't outbid Leinster or anything like that

You can offer him a full contract while Leinster offer an academy one though, agent games is definitely a possibility.
