Transfers rumours

Erhhh

I mean it's a pretty logical jump to question Marcus standing with England.

Ford still has potentially one more RWC in him espcially given his playing style.

Finn Smith imo will overtake Marcus under Borthwick.
Charlie Morgan of the Telegraph now tweeting that Smith being released back to Quins with Ford training with England with a view to returning against France

Jarrod Evans to Quins rumour ur from my Cardiff mates.
To be fair, that would be a good signing regardless of what happens with Smith and England.

Allan is leaving so could be a very good replacement.

Plus, even if we're having a poor season, I imagine Quins would be a more attractive prospect than Wales right now …

Chris Farrell to Oyonanax. Mike Prendergast the main man behind helping this deal.

Alex Soroka to Munster. The player has requested this as he wants to link up with Denis Leamy again.

Both are in talks now

Rumours that Edinburgh are trying to buy Ewan Ashman out of the final two years of his contract,
Hope it's not true - would understand him looking elsewhere earlier this season as he'd dropped down the pecking order but he's looked great since getting more gametime recently, and there are rumours that Akker is going back to SA so Ewan would likely be first choice next season

Also talk that Diamond is looking to bring in Nick Easter and Lee Blackett to the Edinburgh coaching staff

Trev Davison to Saints looking to be confirmed. They're buying out his contract with Painter off to Exeter

Seems J Willis is extending with Tolouse.

What does that mean for his eligibility?
Not eligible for the World Cup anymore

Mercer did an interview the other day where he said that he becomes eligibly on July 1st, so presumably Willis would become ineligible on June 30th

Yup Walders gone. Not sure yet if he's resigned or Matt Thompson is having a paddy and having a clear out.

I wait with interest...falcons imploding again

Surely he wouldnt do that to himself? TWillis yes but JWillis will want to play the WC unless they gave him one hell of an offer.

Rumours that La Rochelle have offered Nowell £200k more than what he's on ATM

Think French clubs are going back to silly season on the spending again - it's a short career and Willis has seen the worst of it in terms of injuries and Wasps going under, if Toulouse offer him £500k and someone in England offers £250k it's probably an easy choice

J Willis knows England aren't going far in the RWC. Why not secure his finances, then return in 2024 and fight for his place again?

Looking increasingly like Walder has left as he has absolutely no say in who comes and goes in the playing staff...apparently loads of players are furious with the situation and looking to leave.

RiP Falcons

Reading that Willis will be eligible for the RWC.

But this is an interesting test - someone who is at peak career, has fought incredibly hard and currently holding down an Eng starting spot. Others heading abroad like LCD and Nowell are later in their careers or like Ribbans who's only ever likely to be a fringe player.
