Interesting to see Cazenave starting for Perpignan, saw him a couple of times for the under-20s last year, looked a bit of a try hard against the English but was much sharper when he came on against the Welsh.

Perpignan will need the full 5 points from this one, something they've struggled to do in previous editions.

Treviso: 15. Luke McLean, 14. Emiliano Mulieri, 13. Alberto Sgarbi, 12. Gonzalo Garcia, 11. Andrew Vilk, 10. Marius Goosen, 9. Fabio Semenzato, 1. Michele Rizzo, 2. Leonardo Ghiraldini, 3. Ignacio Fernandez Rouyet, 4. Antonio Pavanello, 5. Cornelius van Zyl, 6. Benjamin Vermaak , 7. Alessandro Zanni, 8. Dion Kingi

Replacements: 16. Diego Vidal, 17. Augusto Allori, 18. Pedro di Santo, 19. Enrico Pavanello, 20. Robert Barbieri, 21. Marco Filippucci, 22. Tobias Botes, 23. Brendan Williams

Perpignan: 15. Jérôme Porical, 14. Farid Sid, 13. David Marty, 12. Maxime Mermoz, 11. Julien Candelon, 10. Nicolas Laharrague, 9. Florian Cazenave, 1. Sebastien Chobet, 2. Guilhem Guirado, 3. Nicolas Mas, 4. Guillaume Vilaceca, 5. Robins Tchale Watchou, 6. Damien Chouly, 7. Gerrie Britz, 8. Henry Tuilagi

Replacements: 16. Marius Tincu, 17. Kisi Pulu, 18. Rimas Alvarez Kairelis, 19. Bertrand Guiry, 20. Steve Meyer, 21. Joffrey Michel, 22. Christophe Manas, 23. Jérôme Schuster

6-0 to Treviso at half time, 2 penalties from Goosen. Heavy rain apprently so this sounds like a bit of a slug fest. Couple of missed kicks as well from Goosen and Porical.

Cazenave seems to be having a mare, handling errors and poor decision making costing Perpignan.

9-3 to Treviso with 15 minutes left, Munster and Saints fans will be loving this, even if they get the win it won't be with a bp.

Goosen misses a kick from half way to give Treviso a 9 point lead. Munster and Saints would be having kittens if they couldn't even get a losing bp.

Perpignan make them pay now, Porical with the try but not converted.

9-8 73 mins.

Treviso take the win. That really puts a wierd spin on group 1 and presuming Munster and Northampton have been watching, then this **** will go bananas come 6 O'Clock.

Another upset. Great game by Treviso.

Confirmed: I suck at predicting stuff. :D

You what?! Munster to take this pool with ease, now.[/b]

meh, doubt it, Perpignan will be a different beast at home and sure Munster will be doing well to even get a bp tonight.

Sure, but it'll be a cold day when Treviso beat Munster. And I see them picking up more bp's than Northampton.

Cmon guys, Munster are a different beast in the Heineken Cup, I'd be disappointed if they didnt get the BP!

This results is absolutely Dizzie Rasscal Bonkers.

Had suspicion Perpignan hadn't interest in H'Cup but French teams are very proud of winning at home so expect Saints and Munster to struggle for BP away to them.

Still the game at 6o'clock is now an even bigger encounter than before

interesting conclusion to make given that you didn't even see the game, it was a full strength Perpignan side, if they weren't interested they would have picked a second string side. It was also chucking it down so that evens out things considerably.

Did Perpignan have line-out issues?

That set-piece in particular is giving them a lot of problems as of late.

there seemed to be issues at the scrum, but handling errors seemed to cost them big time as well.

Agreed Tarbh didn't see game but just suspect that they didn't have interest.... Been honest didn't even look at teams either.

But if they had any intentions in Europe after today I sure they'll concentrate on domestic competitions and just try win all home games. But in saying that if they beat Northampton next week and Munster beat Treviso then it all even again except bonus point here and there.

But think while Munster bonus point tonight will count more than Perpignan's

Great win for Treviso, well done to them! :bravo:
Couldn't have come at a better time either, I read somewhere that there's a doubt over the Magners Legue team based in Rome, which could open a gap for Treviso to take their place.
