Thats a fair point, i usually conflate the term, everyone who voted for him is a supporter, I sometimes use MAGA as well though TBH.
Other than that I would say if you've ever been to a Trump rally to support him. Those people are MAGA. Most Trump voters can't be ****** to do that ****.

I'm tempted to extend it to include whether someone has ever seriously considered wearing one.

****, then im MAGA? What about if you've dressed as Trump for a party? Or team meeting on Zoom with a new CEO? Or bought 10 of them while on holiday for colleagues who hate him? But wait, they were from a subway Mexican...

Edit, they were wearing a shirt saying 'subway Mexican' so im not racist

I can’t wait to wear my Make Wales Great Again hat later this year.

Its not both sides-ism (although I have to respect the term you have created?) When I'm out and proud left on most issues.

Empathising with why people whoni wouldnt vote with, like MAGA and adressing their concerns as legit, is text book empathy. I dont sit on the fence, I criticise Trump constantly, but I recognise that jokes aren't deep seeded thoughts, christ imagine what you must think of every edgy comedian?!
And what's your answer to my question about Trump and Obama claims?
