It is wild the amount of MAGA lot on X who are using images from 9/11 and claiming Mamdani will do it again.

I mean it is pretty disgusting using images of people falling from the towers.

I personally know nothing about Mamdani but the communist / socialist slurs from the right, make me feel he will be an excellent mayor of NYC.

I thought the conspiracy theories about Khan introducing Sharia law in London were bad but that is next level.

Mamdani has already received quite a few death threats apparently. I hope his security will be sufficiently beefed up in light of rising political violence and dangerous conspiracy theories being pushed by his opponents.

Interesting as well how Trump gets a massive influx of "investment" into his crypto currency from a known crypto fraud and suddenly said fraud is pardoned by Trump. Trump them claims to not know him (always the response) and Mike Johnson claims to know nothing about it, despite claiming when Biden pardoned people without knowing then, that was a serious concern.

Trumps dealings with CZ are probably about the same as mine with CZ, in that our portfolios hold and are Binance related (although there is evidence to claim that Binance were contracted to write code for USDI for the Trump juniors crypto company Liberty).

CZ was found guilty of failing to put proper safeguards in place for laundering on Binance, his fine and prison sentence was incredibly harsh, and was designed to be a message to crypto, on behalf of the traditional banking system.

This was a poor move for Crypro as a whole, Trumps lack of caring about optics prime crypto for a backlash from the next Democratic president, who like Trump wont understand crypto or its utility, this is becoming a battle between the current traditional banking system, and progression to a more equal society utilising blockchain technology.

Its a shame crypto has been rejected by the left, the potential for social change is there.

Trump crypto is a huge pump and dump waiting to happen and when it happens it'll be blamed on the Fed or Biden.

He's also using tariffs to move the stock market in order to benefit his family and oligarch mates who will be buying and selling just at the right time at the expense of normal working people's investments/pension funds. It's abuse of power and insider trading on an industrial scale. He's not even hiding it.

If i ask if anything came of the Mamdani dad links to terror sympathising organisation, or which Republicans said Mamdani wanted to do 9/11 again, they end with a ?.

Isnt Ogles the guy who wants a Trump 3rd term and wants Mamdani deported lol, how does that guy get into office? that and Cuomo linking Mamdani to 9/11 are disgracefull, id hesitate to blame all MAGA and conservatives though, thats hardly fair, the same way i havnt seen anyone on here lumping all Democrats in with conservative killers because they mock and celebrate the death of a speaker.

The whole Trump crypto thing stinks to high heaven and is probably as corrupt as you can get.

Agree, i had a conversation the other day about how i felt earning money from Crypto and stocks when they are clearly manipulated by the elites, and i replied with the 'corruption is only bad if im not involved' meme.

Truth is cryptos the wild west still, politicians dont understand it, and therefore cant manage it correctly, there are those who do establishment bidding and fight it, and those who benefit from it, we really do need someone neutral with common sense who can get in there and properly regulate and promote.

The problem is, the SEC has been about as bent as a butchers hook for decades, the only thing they care about is appeasing their corporate and political overlords.

I think the reason im less outraged about Trumps Crypto gaming, is that

1. Every financial game has been rigged from day 1.

2. Crypto has been a rigged game since its inception, including Musks disgraceful pump and dump acts.

3. Politicians have become millionaires by insider trading for decades on decades, they all have their hands in the flithy pot, its just become normalised, and crypto still scares people.

I say clean sweep every politican in... oh wait, thats drain the swamp ****!
