What TV Show's are you watching/looking forward to?

Just finished Andor, fantastic show - didn't expect it go as close to Rogue One as it did

Arguments for best spinoff show ever?
Frasier is the only other one that comes to mind (obviously incredibly different vibes)
Better Call Saul?

I wasn't personally a massive fan of it but I know a lot of people consider it to be amongst the best shows ever.

NCIS?
Never watched it, but I know it's hugely popular.

But then, I've also not watched andor, or better call Saul (or Jag, or Breaking Bad)

Original Frasier (not new one, which got cut) - I can still watch it's still that good.

Shout out for Cobra Kai.

I was never a fan of Breaking Bad so never watched Better Call Saul

Im gonna shout out for Star Trek: Deep Space Nine which I'd genuinely belive in more modern times would be huge.

But Andor has no right to be as good and as pertinent as it is considering how lazy Star Wars has been for ages even when its been good. Its genuinely pushing into my favourite shows I've seen.

BCS has a very different tone, it's well worth giving it an episode or two to see if it sticks
Yeah Breaking Bad was like fine for me but I didn't quite get why people thought it was the best ever.

I was also in a very bad headpiece when I watched it. I was out of work living with my in laws who dont like me (and I dont like them).

I'll support the call for NCIS, it's a good show and up until recently had the great David McCallum in it, they gave him a great sendoff episode, but it spawned too many spinoffs. Los Angeles, New Orleans, Hawaii and Sydney. And now a prequel in Origins. They've milked it to death. Now at 22 seasons it's growing old with not one original cast member left after "Ducky" died.

For one "national" organisation they seemed to have absolutely nothing in common, in each iteration, especially the IT setup.

The best for me of the spinoffs was Sydney, at least in another country there's was an influence that wasn't American, although I fail to understand quite how Australia would be happy with American law enforcement constantly waving guns around in public.

Ditto on Frasier, the new one did have some good bits, Nicholas Lyndhurst was great and sometimes you really heard Rodney Trotter coming out.

I watched the first episode on the plane and didn't laugh once. It put me right off watching anymore. Didn't want to ruin the original Frasier.

Sadly it just wasn't the same. Not without the old cast. For me that old sibling rivalry and the fact David Hyde Pierce looks like he could be Frasier's younger brother really is something they could never replicate.

Kelsey Grammar and Co should have left it as it was. The characters story had been told. It ended perfectly before. No need to rehash it IMO. And not they cut it shows how cut throat the American Tv market is.

FTR, I was suggesting NCIS as the spin-off from Jag.
As I say though, I've never watched either show to judge for myself, let alone the spin-offs from the spin off.

Going back a bit further, wasn't MASH tv show a spin-off from the book&film? Or is that counted as more of an expansion?

Unsure its more like a readaptation I don't think its really a spin off.
