What TV Show's are you watching/looking forward to?

Tires, on Netflix

Really enjoying it - sitcom set in a tyre shop, written by/staring Shane Gillis
Not a laugh riot or anything, just generally amusing with some proper laughs sprinkled through - kinda just like guys shooting the ****

Probably because of the incel backlash the game got. If I was casting it I would be pretty mindful of exposing a real person to that sort of abuse.
I did wonder if there was some of that thinking. Shame if so as her physicality was integral to her character and nothing wrong with having a physically strong woman as a main character in a show.

I thought the same and its really to do with fact she kills Joel. Abbie is quite an interesting character that I quite liked.

I read they felt it wasn't integral to the character but also rumor is Kaitlyn Dever was the best actress for the role in their opinion but had family illness stuff going on so couldn't commit to the training plan.

EDIT: I'd rather a good actress rather than someone with the correct build.

True, but I'm greedy and don't see any reason why you couldn't have both (I would also disagree that Abbie's physicality isn't integral to her character)

So in my view you either get her on the roids and hit the gym or you there's the door, I'm sure there's plenty of decent actresses out there who could've done a good job and who are big girls/willing to hit the gym.

Also, not being funny or nothing, but I've not exactly been blown away by her either (only 3 epodes in tbf) she's not terrible or anything but I'm not that impressed either tbh.

Having said all that I'm still really enjoying it and it's not spoilt it for me or anything just couldn't quite understand it.

Finished the series and I liked it. Looking forward to S3.

I did wonder about Abbie's lack of big arms. Suppose it is relevant to the story ie she beefs up because of what happened to her father.

Dropped Last of Us S3, absolutely terrible. S2 was already bad enough but S3 is unwatchable, plus *there's something I didn't like in the beginning
- *but can't write what as it's spoiler and spoiler button doesn't work for me on the forum

What are you talking about? S3 is being made this year and won't be released probably until next year.

My mistake, the last season (the new one). Honestly I had an impression there were already two seasons before..but it's only the first one that I was watching in two parts 🤣
Ok,to sum up: first series of S1 were good, then it was getting worse and worse. S2 is unwatchable,I just dropped it

I've had no real issues with The Last Of Us, the casting doesn't really bother me and for the most part it's a faithful retelling of the game's plot.

I do feel that, like the games, it was the "trendy and cool" thing to pile on and critique it with mostly superficial details.

Revelation: The End Of Days

Just finished the 2nd Series of Gold on iPlayer. Brilliant
Just finished it and really enjoyed it as well. Reading up again on the history of it and who is likely to have assassinated Palmer. I know real life Noye is now out of prison.

Having read up on Palmer, it seems he may have had a few thousand enemies.
